I like how the Wiimote is diffrent from other controllers, what I like about Wii is they dont try to copy any other brand, they make thing's that you wont see on a every day console. Its really cool

Considering that Nintendo deliberately shipped their consoles initially in deficit, then yes. I just got my Wii a few months ago as I was fortunate enough to run into one at Best Buy so you can leave now. Also, you must be a total nit to think that console is "old" if it is only 1 1/2 years old.
