Another thing with Vincent is one pupil is huge, another is very small. Apparently this can occur from being dropped as a child. As Vincent probably was. Repeatedly. Hooray Wish House children.
The graphics in this game are absolutely amazing. I mean come on, look at all of Vincent's expressions and movements, even the texture of his hair looks like it should be next generation gaming. Why is it that in Silent Hill 5 they don't even move their mouths when they speak, but in this one they can do that perfectly well? This game was my favorite next to 2, and I hope that this beautiful series isn't ruined now thanks to stupid SH5. We need more sexy characters like Vincent T_T
There is even more deeper detail in Vincent's face, the programmers deliberately made his eyes offcenter, and one pupil is smaller than the other. His teeth is always gritted. This creates a more offsettling presence, just like how Claudia has no eyebrows. The Silent Hill games are amazing in detail, considering that they machine they are on, the PS2, was technologically, the weakest of the seventh gen consoles graphically.
@ReikaiDemon sorry to reply to this after months, but I was wondering how could the developers achieve such graphics? I mean, this is a cutscene, not a pre rendered cinematic or anything like that. What could they bypass to make this? I find that shadows are the things, that needs to get cut down in order to get some good graphics on the ps2, but here...nothing, it's beautifull. Oh and btw I'm not a person who only buys games for it's visuals, but damn, when it's in my face:)
Doctor K from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories reminds me alot of Vincent. He is also very well animated and lip synced. The way he talks is also similar to Vincent. Did you notice that?
I have actually never played Shattered Memories. A few months ago I rented it out of curiousity, but never got around to the game because of life and general disinterest. But yeah, graphic-wise he looks handsome and interesting like Vincent. His movements are similiar too. Eh...I don't know. It will always be "trying and missing" for me with this series after the fourth one. Konami just doesn't have the depth and originality anymore.
To sum up Silent Hill take what Vincent says with you "Monsters?? Is that what they look like?" Or something to that effect its really strange that they aren't monsters but people.. Or was the case in Silent Hill 1. But SH is a really strange game but I love it!!
