nice vid...the only problem with it is that its a horrible idea to switch pressences mid fight...not only will you use up an unholy rune switching out but you lose a blood rune switching back in...i think its better to time your running more carefully so that your their in time instead of waiting till the last second then trying to burst over there

In my personal experience, it is a matter of preference and skill with the 3 talent trees. Your average DK does best as unholy, but I have seen blood DKs do just as much dps on bosses(which imo counts most). I have also seen Frost DKs that really know how to play the class very well beat EQUALLY geared unholy and blood DKs.

I'm sorry but IMO this is the worst UI i have ever seen. Sure all the Health bars, dps info, procs, Cd's, and such are there, but there is just too much. THere is no way i would ever be able to tell what the fuck is going on. I can Hardly even read the DPS under the jumble of text. Dude maybe try some simplified UI, it can do wonders for dps and headaches =)

The Frost rotation is very tight and bad latency, human failure or just movement bosses will result in a huge DPS loss. Personally I like to call Frost a "stationary spec" because when you stand still, with a bit of luck it'll result in the highest personal DPS a spec can offer. The luck factor is quite large though, so in the end it'll turn out to be just the same DPS as Blood or Unholy, considering both specs are played right.

It's not viable. Bosses parry your attacks and then hit you after almost every time. You need to be hit and expertise capped for this as a general rule, making it useless.

I made a video purely to explain rotation. Procs are a huge factor of frost, but statistically you can always expect about the same amount in the end, provided you pay attention.

To the other guy, no don't tank as DW Frost. Way back when, it was viable because the substantial defendive stat gain arguavbly outweighed the parry risk, assuming a decent amount of expertise.

Now with Stoneskin rune, there is no real advantage to DW tanking other than the "look at me" factor

Arkinventory. It's nice, you can setup bag/item rules such that you see your inventory sorted.

For instance, on mine ore is always sorted next to each other and away from all other items, no matter what bag they are actually in.

Same for herbs, consumables, soulbound gear, etc etc.

You can also look at the inventory/bank of any toon you have on the same server, no matter which toon you are currently in game with.

Stick with slow weapons, the thasarrian talent really prefers slow weapons...go for the highest dmg range weapon you can find...use blood presence to help damage range.

Rotation-wise just download facesmasher addon, its all you'll need.

i was thinking the same, after 3.2 patch blizzard improve DW in frost tree....so I turn my level 73 Blood Dk into a level 73 DW Frost Dk, and is great to play......blood as some advantages like you will never use any kind of bandage (almost heal 100% of your HP), but frost is a SICK MACHINE of Criticals (Killing Machine talent is great)

I use two slow weapons because your strikes (frost, obliterate, plague and blood strike) are all based on weapon damage for both the main and offhand strikes.

It follows then that weapons with high top end damage are the best for strikes.

If you use unholy, necrosis and blood caked strike might benefit more from fast... but in all my testing, of all the DW specs, Slow-Slow has always won for me.

I think two slow weapons is why this spec beats the cookie cutter frost/unholy DW for me.

I've done some testing with using Unholy Presence over Blood Presence with the Frost/Unholy build and I saw it was about a 200-400 DPS increase over using Blood Presence. I could squeeze in a lot more specials before having to refresh diseases.

i before patch 3.2 was unholy dual wield spec with Slow - Fast and on fights such as say Patchwerk (due to the fact its pure burn) i was getting around 6k+ but now after 3.2 i tested frost dual wield fr a while and i have to agree, Slow - Slow is by far superior to fast - fast or slow - fast, now as dual wield frost i can get 6.5k+ with ease really on patchwerk, even managed my target of 10.5k dps on hodir heroic last night finally :P

I got about the same spec as you so far, at lvl 74 and Im hitting 1,6-2k dps on bosses, and even topped the 2k on the treeshaper, with actually only my own HoW + BoM on me in the nexus normal.

Using a frost/blood build aswell with two slow weapons (the lvl 74 BS ones) It's worth a try for every DK I'd say.

15/56/0 wins everytime for me. I've tested them both extensively, and my single target dps using this spec has skyrocketed over what I was doing with a 2h pre 3.2.

I'll be posting hard mode XT and general squidface soon. I manage to top them both, and already posted is northrend beasts, which is just about all single target, and Im top.

Use what spec works for you, this works for me in my current gear.

Frost/unholy has only a use if u have a lot of haste as nerco and stuff like that are doing extra dmg. Blood is good if u have crit issue which is usual as many 1h weps have hit haste exp and ap and agi for crit which dks aint have a high benefit of but really nice vid i try that aswell even so my whole gear is based on arp for 2h blood dps xD 5/5

In my testing this far, Slow-Slow is the best. I have 2 Vulmir, and then two uld25 1.5s speed weapons. I've tested Slow-Slow, Slow-Fast, and Fast-Fast, all with different enchant setups. I'll probably post a vid about it soon when I finish the Frost rotations one i'm working on.
