Your length estimations are very exaggerated. The Vanguard is only 471 ft long, a far cry from the reported 720 ft, or 2 football fields as you put it. The Le Triomphant, not Le Triomphe, is 451 ft long, again a far cry from 720 ft. If you intend on reporting on submarines, or anything else for that matter, please at least try to be technically correct.
