  • my cat like to find hair ties i leave around the house and put them in the toilet... happens at least once a day lol

  • you literally just described my life with my cats Napoleon and Frankie, and they're just regular tuxedo cats lol

  • do they shed alot?

  • hahahaha my kitten does everything u said and shes just a tabby cat. xD idk wats wrong with my kitty. crazy and a pain in the ass! LOL

  • you should take her for walks. that helps release excess energy. walk around the neighborhood a few time.

  • gal, you have a shit load of different make-up shit on your face gal.

  • @erdal0 i think she looks beautiful and compared to other girls on youtube she does not have that much makeup on

  • Comment removed

  • @erdal0 i think she is ok

  • @erdal0 Probably because shes a make-up artist.

  • Kabuki is so gorgeous we had a group here In Australia who wanted to import the Savannah cat for breeding but the anti-cat lobby influenced our government to make these cats illegal, Give Kabuki lots of HUGS & KISSES sent with love from Australia xxxooo.

  • How expensive are F3 Savannahs?

  • @pharoahakai like 3,000-5,000 dollars around where i live

  • I know what you mean about raising a wild cat is hard, I have a tabby and lynx mix, he was easy to litter train and all, no problems there, but like your Savannah, he does what he wants, I always try to keep him off my counters and the likes to no avail, he also likes to knock things over like kabuki

  • u talk to much my god...

  • Soft Paws! They are non-toxic, not harmful, they don't hurt, and even if the kitty swallowed one, no problem, no internal harm. They are vinyl claw caps made by a veternarian, designed by an animal lover, and they are easy for kitties to get used to. Come in all sorts of colours, cats and kittens.

  • do an updated one! :)

  • your hair is beautiful in this video!! love you kalel XXx

  • Thumbs up if you wanted to see her kitten ;-)

  • Pls do an update video on your cat thanks you very much

  • I don't think its right to de-claw either! Did you ever get those cat claw covers?

  • Now that Kabuki is a year old, can you do an update video? Like does she still scratch, have you been able to break any of her habits and what not? This video was helpful, and I'm sure an e even more helpful. Thanks =]

  • @NotRacistBUT diva means kinda bratty, like basically some1 who kinda plays by her own rules

  • I came to youtube looking for savannah kitten videos... & um, damn you're pretty hot lol

  • I wanna get a F5 Savannah kitten when I'm older :)

  • Just so you know, its called "spayed." Not Spayded.

  • how much are these cats?

  • @bitlord000 expencive, a F3 is about 4000-6000 dollar or something (i live in europe, i don't really know how much they cost in the US )

  • If she's this much of a handful now, just imagine when she's an adult.

I'm trying to figure out what a diva cat is. Diva means god, right?

  • how much did you pay for her?

  • Wait do u have a job??? I love your car

  • What job does she have??

  • LOL my cat does the same things with the whole wanting to be with you all the time and all that. But the playful biting and scratching is kind of the opposite with my cat... Instead, she just bites and scratches when she gets mad. xD She's very, very feral.

  • @youandihavenolife Gah! my cat too! She annoys the heck outta me when she gets into here random "rage modes". But i love her even after chewing through my 5th phone charger :P

  • @nhkjscsemtqbdt Gotta love your cats, even if they drive you insane. :D

  • I should mention too that Eddie and Freya have both recently decided to play gentle with hands/arms, and they now seem to save their wildmode action (you probably know what i'm talking about, when their ears kick backwards and they get all crazy) for their toys. I never had to do anything other than letting out the occasional 'ow!' for them to learn. Hands, arms, and legs are feeling much better lately. Kabuki should hopefully get gentler too. They're still just as or more cuddly than ever.

  • So many things you said about Kabuki remind me of Eddie and Freya, my 4 month old wild rescued savannah kittens. Earlier today for the first time, while mewing a bit asking to go outside Eddie was trying to grip the doorknob. If it had been a handle he would've had it for sure! They both insist on getting in the bathroom with me for showers etc, too... Freya in particular watches closely and even pokes her head in a bit. Sounds and looks like your kitten lucked out with a beautiful owner/person.

  • My cat is three months old and he's totally crazy. he bites and scratches and hides under things and i think it's just because he's young. i don't really think it's because your kitten is a Savannah. i think all cats are kind of crazy and playful when they're kittens.

  • In this video you say you adopted Kabuki. If you bought her from a breeder (as you have previously stated) then you did not adopt her. Adopting an animal means you get it from a shelter, or a rescue, etc.

  • You can also watch Cats 101. I am pretty sure that they have an episode with Savannas.

  • u are extremely gorgeous ahaha

  • I'm gonna get an F3 savannah kitten soon! And since i don't have any idea of what i'm going to name him (yes it's a male) i wanted to asck you if i can steal your idea and call him Kabuki?

  • @TheCandymimine sorry to just reply to this but I think you should come up with something unique and something you, and grabs your attention. It wouldn't be as special if you called it the same name as someone who actually loves and cares and feels like its a part of them. :)

  • @TheCandymimine oh yeah, and Kabuki is a girl so try finding something that fits a boy cat. You wouldn't want to name your cat after a female makeup brush. :) Kalel you are amazing, Kabuki I bet is soft as one. <3

  • @JennFaithMusic Yeah you're right i'm going to try to think about some unique names :)

  • @TheCandymimine let me know what you came up with! <3

  • When cats are young and raised by their mothers ( with no human involvement ) , there siblings and mother teach them that biting and clawing does not feel good to them . Try sort of growling at her or doing a loud annoyed sounding meow combined with looking really fiercly straight into her eyes .

  • Thank you so much for posting this video!!! I am looking into getting a savannah but an F2 and this helped me a lot with me making my mind up :)

  • @amandarichards92 F2 savannah cats are for very experienced and patient owners . Keep in mind , they are half wild African Serval . This is not a first time owner type of cat .

  • @MrFloppywaffles i know i have grown up raising cats, even a few special needs kittens.

  • wow she has a shit load of makeup on

  • I love this channel because it really shows what kind of pets savannah cats make. You should probably make a more informative video like how it's banned in certain states, their snake hiss, the F generations, etc. Not to mention they are a few thousand dollars!

  • sounds like claws are the only problem with these cats. easy enough. claw caps to the rescue!

btw, if you have not tried the claw caps, TRY THEM!! they are GREAT!! my fiance and i use them on her cat...had to get my 20lb main coon declawed though...claws were too big for the XL claw caps...hated to do it, but had to for the recliner's sake...lol

  • you've got the same kind of cat i have. :D Savannah cats act really crazy but i loves them. X3

  • "spayed-ed"

    wut?

  • Well from reading all these comments it sounds like Savannah cats are the best cats. I want one they are so adorable.

  • @IKissingTheLipless

I think she's just referring to her percentage of wild roots and background.

  • there is NO such thing as a "half wild" cat. cats are either feral or domestic.

  • i have a tip for you if u can u should go to pet smart and there is some spray safe on wood and other fabrics and u can spray it on the stuff u dont want her cuz they do not like the taste AT ALL and u cant really smell it so i hope this helps!!! u rock

    -Kellie

  • Our old clats were declawed because we were young and we didnt want them attacking us. :P My parents have pictures of one of them climbing up the big spears and she ruined them :/ thats another reason. And the day we were taking them to the vet one of them sat on the fridge, and my mom tried to take her down and the cat clung onto her arm and made a rlly gross scar. I miss my kitties but they can be a peice in the arse.

  • Kabuki is soo adorable!

  • Another thing that helps is when she seems to be acting out, we try to play with her and give her toys to wear her out for a while. There are these little curly plastic toys that come 3 in a package that she LOVES. She will play with them for hours.

  • I have an F3 Savannah named Janie Girl and she is almost to the t exactly as you describe and I love her to pieces as well. One thing I have noticed that has helped tremendously with her behavior issues is a spray bottle with vinegar. We don't even have to spray her anymore because as soon as she sees the bottle she's running.

  • the girl is hot !

  • you HAVE to spayed/neuter your cats and dogs, doesn't matter if you think its immoral or not. the reason why their are sooo many animals in the shelter and on the streets is bc of owners lacking the care of there animals and not "fixing" their animals. not saying you're a bad owner bc you seem lovely. you're very right about the declawing, declawing a cat is like taking away our entire arms its their only defense but about the spaying/neutering you have too.

  • @kelelnkabuki how much are they in the uk?

  • kabuki is adorable! you're a great mom to her :)

  • it might be different with savannah cats, but if she really is attacking u, u might want to try fighting back (example: wacking her nose, etc.) and if she really starts hurting u, try hissing or growling at her. Ive been doing this with my cat and he has learned to stop attacking me.

  • 10 weeks? You have to wait at least 12 before you take a kitten from its mother.

I know laws in a lot of different countries says otherwise, like 8-10 weeks, but it's wrong.

  • @Peacekeeper88 I don't know about kittens but dogs can leave their mothers at 6 weeks. :)

  • hot

  • You said that Kabuki doesn't leave your side. So, do you bring her along when you go shopping? Or do you just leave her at home with a friend or something?

  • ok little darlin, my kitty is soooo much like kabuki, (now keep in mind she is a regular cat but shes sooooo wild! idk why) anyway she is a year old, almost two :( lol anyway she did the biting and scratching thing and it did get better with her (again she is a regular cat thou) she still loves to bite and scratch but its gentle, like shes being easy, what i did was when she would bite id say "oooouch" and whimper and whine then she'd give us kisses :) now shes more gentle. worth a try.

  • You should get her like a cat tower, so she can climb on that! :-)

  • how much was she

  • You could also concider a 2nd kitten, this might tame her a bit. The 2nd kitten can be any breed! I know a lot of bengaal breeders and know that they never sell kittens alone as they are so active. Good luck! I am so glad that is illegal to declaw cats here!!

  • Comment removed

  • she watches you in the shower O_o?

  • I love cats who like cuddling while sleeping. I declaw only if I notice they are mostly indoor and tend to dislike going outdoors. I hate it when you are asleep and they decide its time to play and eat early in the morning at like 5am... so they go for the toes lol

  • HI! I have a half bengal half maine coon and she is just like kabuki! I guess its because she is also part wild. She loves to bite and scratch and sleeps right up on my neck/face. She sits by the door of the bathroom until I come out and she will cry and cry and cry if I close her in a room that I am not in. She follows me around the apartment and weaves in and out of my legs. She gets so close that sometimes I accidentally scoop her up with my feet and she glides across the room.

    Love!

  • My kitten went through all the same phases especially the scratching and biting, she's 2 now and has definitely grown out of it. She will learn that scratching and biting hurts you as she gets older.

  • all of the negatives just seem like things that all kittens do.

  • awww! i love cats but wouldn't own one. i'll always have dogs. that's just my preference. but you know what? i wish more people did videos like this one about kittens and puppies.

  • Sounds like a normal cat to me. I have a Maine Coon and this is my exact experience.

  • @kalelnkabuki I have a question about Kabuki! How does he respond to other people in your house? Does he get protective or aggressive? Btw I love watching these videos!! :D

  • It's not only with Savannahs hehe,I have 2 cats since they were kitten and everything you said they do the exact same. sleep next to me at night, one of them cries when i shut the door and cries for a VERY long time until I open the door and her them in, the other one jumps anywhere high, kitchen cupboards, book shelves etc, scratches everything! my couch, blanket, chairs etc. I think most of the cats are like that, especally when you get them when they're kittens they become like your babies!

  • I had a really bad experience with claw covers where my cat would get caught on fabric and they didn't stay on for all that long. Plus they were a pain to get them on.

  • Thumbs up if....lol jk she disbaled the thumbs up

  • your basically just describing a normal kitten and normal kitten behaviour, all kittens leave scars, climb, scratch and want attention as well as look wild (I know my cat when he was akitten was a bit crazy) - its not just your cat -.- plus there are loads of cats that could have been adopted :S

  • @Emztahh true true true

  • you should really get the caps for the cats pawss it stops all the scratching scars and so that the cat wont damage furniture.

  • When she does something naughty you should try lightly spanking her on her back by her tail. I have a male cat, I've had him since he was 3 years old. He's now 11 and when he's bad I spank him on his back by his tail. That way he knows he did something wrong.

  • Adopt, don't buy! :S

  • Get her a cat exercise wheel.

  • you have such amazing camera quality! :]

  • For the soap put velcro tabs on the sink and the bottle so they stick!

  • and no she didnt adopt her savanah cat. she payed a breeder, its different.

  • really? there are plenty of adoptable cats out there. why didnt you just get one of those? -_-

  • I simply cannnot understand why you would pay that much money for a cat... When you can get a normal cat :) And I really don't get from this video what is the advantage of getting a "wild" one instead of a domestic one, except for the snobism part

  • @iulia1985 There are many pet owners out there that get just as snobbish and high and mighty because they adopted their pet. As long as the pet came from and goes to a loving, caring place, does it really matter that much?

  • @electrogeek77 It may get to the point where it matters, because as people call themselves "Pet lovers", shouldn't they get out there and help animals in shelters and stuff. That is my opinion, I am not saying the others are stupid or anything. I just cannot understand :)

  • You sound.... dumb in this video. Its like you don't know what your talking about. Especially when your talking about why you like your savannah cat.

Requiring so much attention makes her loyal...? She's smart enough to blow your mind because she sits there watching you take a shower?

  • Spayded:) Oh I love you Kalel.

  • Did she say spayeded....

  • does kabuki have a separation anxiety?

  • In this video you described a healthy kitten The playful biting will wear off, the nocking things will stay.. but jep i have a normal cat and i have tought him commands.. always amazess me how smart they are:)

  • i have a cat too, or two now because i coudnt go to school without her rippin the house apart! shes just like your cat So i got another cat to keep her company (ofcourse not only for that, i love them both!(;) the start wasnt so good but now they are besties:D i would recommend to get a cat buddy:D

  • Comment removed

  • omg my cats just the same ! always wanting to follow me xD

  • She did adopt Kabuki. She adopted her when she was ten weeks old and she mentioned this at the beginning of the video.

  • @pulseofamagg0t

she got her from a breeder, it's different.

  • why didnt you just adopt a cat? :o

  • A lot of what you're saying is things i experience with all cats, i have a pure bred rag doll who is more like kabuki than my two cats that are half scottish wildcat. She'll probably calm down, but so much of this is just kitten behaviour in general.

  • LOL kalel your new hair colour totally matche kabuki, just like a fido commercial

  • "she has to sit on the edge and waaatch me..." haha you're so cute kalel!

  • my cat is exactly like her.. she's definetly got some wild blood in her as well. she's not even a savannah, she's a mix of somekind. But the wild blood has a deep inpack on thei behavior. I doesn't go away. My cat is still ike that, and she's 6 years .

  • amazing cat!

  • you look so pretty in this video! I love your hair style & color! <3

  • r u sure she is a savannah cuz i have a bangeled cat that is half leopard half cat and they looked just alike

  • u should go a dark red

  • good vid , good info. I'm sorry to hear that you're such a homebody though. 85% or your time at home? at your age? in California? girl - get out there and live a bit !!!!

    Take Care !

  • im glad you dont believe in declawing:) some people dont understand how it hurts them. also i have some scars too. i work at friends of strays which is a stray cat shelter. and there are some meann cats haha u can just touch them and they like eat ur hand off ! haha

  • Wait, then what kind of job do you have?

  • How much did you pay for Kabuki? Please respond. I'm not trying to be nosy & I know you may not want to tell me because of what some people will say, but please, I'm curious to know because of been wanting to get a Savannah kitten & haven't really seen a price when I researched them.

    So, PLEASE RESPOND. <3333

    :)

  • i lost all respect for you, quit trying to benefit from selling force breeded cats and actually do something good like help cats at shelters...

  • @bvm20ej1 Big deal. She bought a cat. She's trying to help people who are looking into buying a Savannah; not trying to benefit, nor is she selling these cats.

  • @StaceAced that not "help" because no one should buy animals, but adopt ;)

  • Comment removed

  • you let your cat watch you take a shower?

  • @ifulikechickens75 its not like shes going to take a picture and put it on facebook. shes a cat for crying out loud. grow up.

  • @ifulikechickens75 The cat is a girl, and it's not like Kabuki sees it in a sexual way. Lmfao. Don't worry, i doubt the cat gets turned on or anything nasty.

  • ive read these cats are really expensive

  • What does it mean to declaw a cat? is that like removing it's claws? I mean, cats aren't supposed to be like, tame or harmless. If you take good care of your cat, and makes sure it has somewhere to scratch there shouldn't be a problem, right?

  • @Beautyfugl The procedure involves removing the end piece of bone on the toes that the nails grow from. Sometimes owners elect to do the procedure because they can't trim the cat's nails and it's to expensive to pay someone else or because they are sick of ruined furniture. Sometimes it's because of medical reasons like tumors, genetically bad nails, or maybe the owner has a suppressed immune system and are more susceptible to a disease like cat scratch. Either way, declawing is a last resort.

  • She sounds like a normal cat lol

  • i have a hairless cat that scratches and bites to like kabuki. i <3 my kitten :D

  • Spaydid hahah.

  • spaydid? did you mean spayed? i've wanted a savannah or similar mixed breed that is a bit larger than a domestic cat, but i need to wait until i'm out on my own and in my own place. you should get a laser light if you don't have one already! kabuki would love it!

  • It's so funny, because I have a new kitten (just a regular one), but he sounds just like Kabuki! He's so wild and rough when he wants to play...I can only imagine how bad your scars are because Stitch is awful!! I'm constantly bleeding, I look like I have a self-harming disorder, and I'm full of bruises! He's so sweet and loyal, though, and acts like a dog! He loves all people, even the vet. But yes, kittens are very wild and hurt when they play! xoxo Laura

  • @iwishuponstars6 i love cats more than dogs but that reminds me when a kitten bites my best friend but it didn't bite me maybe cats like me or i'm used to them lol

  • i have soo many scars from my cat lol he's playful too, he's not even a savannah. he's just a black and white kitty. i love him to death tho! wouldn't trade him for anything. :)

  • sounds like the behavior of any kitten. i've had many. i love cats. she is adorable :)

  • Your hair is the color of my sister's hair.Lol.It is just longer and you would need to get like 3 bling strands.Haha. :]

  • maybe you should get like a scartching post and teach her that she can climb onto that so she doesnt have to scratch the bed and the bookshelf :) worked for my cat and his part maine coon !!

  • I really thought that being an F3 that she would be a bit more then 50% african serval still so friggin cute tho :)

  • f3 savannah females are between 3500-5500.. around that price, i googled some info and that's what it said

  • @faemuz

You can get a pet quality F3 from a well known breeder for 2,500

  • she has to watch me take a shower.... creeper.

  • how much did u get her for

  • overly into cats much????

  • @thatsmeyay90

    ur fat

  • @LeanneCostello thnx i love people like say another complement

  • @LeanneCostello aww now im going to stick my dick in the oven

  • @thatsmeyay90

    you do that

  • @LeanneCostello thnx

  • Honestly, my friend just got a kitten around a year ago and it's all typical kitten activity.

  • @r9m24 "my friend got a kitten" So, you don't have personal experience. Every breed of cat is unique. Just like every breed of dog.

  • I know that this is a video about Kabuki but.. what nailpolish are you wearing? :)

    xoxo

  • My is obsessed with me as well. I left her for a month while I go to ireland, and I'm sure she's going crazy with me...

  • I'm not really a fan of cats, yet I still watch all these videos for Kalel. <3

  • what do you do with her when you go out of town?

  • @ChansHeaven Spaying & neutering essentially the same thing. Neutering for males, spaying for females. It prevents them from reproducing =)

  • Kalel, is kabuki afraid of water?

  • @DiamanteDarling No Savannah cats actually like playing in water

  • you look super pretty!

    usually your a 10/10

but now your like a 11/10

    Love you Kalel :D

  • She sounds like the average house kitten.

  • Squirt with the spray bottle lol

  • Thank you for the info... I had never seen one until I started watching your videos. The door opening trick is pretty amazing! She's beautiful to watch.

  • If you watch wild cats with their mums, they play fight with them bite and sratch. She sees you as her mum and she doing what comes to wild animal nature

  • Where did u get her? I love her so much!!!!!!!
