Dear Sariel, what's the typical gear reduction in TT, using PF XL motors and 94.8 wheels? Most of participants are using 1 or 2 XL motors for drivetrain? THX. I appreciate very much your work
@axeaxe46 What you suggested was a model that would loose synchronisation of the steering system at first attempt at turning, and would be disqualified anyway for being not rules-compliant.
I accidently click the vid and my bf was like oh cool can I watch this @ 4:35 couldn't notice the guy driving his iPod earphone dangled and looked ... Innapropriate lol
@nico71240 I use just the Windows Movie Maker for most of the editing, but I did some effects (e.g. intro) in the Flash and then exported it as a video.
those are pretty awesome :D, I wish i could try making one but I dont' have enoughf parts :(

@diamondvise Most participants use 1 XL motor because it results in better score. The typical gear reduction varies between 9:1 and 6:1.

Which wheels are the most common? 94.8 (offroader 8297) or those "wheel rc race buggy (8265)?
MrKaddan 1 year ago
@MrKaddan 94.8 of course, they're larger and come with harder tires.
searme 1 year ago
@searme So you wouldn't recommend buying the wheel rc race buggy for trial trucks?
MrKaddan 1 year ago
@MrKaddan Depends on whom you race against.
searme 1 year ago
@searme which wheels did you use in your jeep wrangler?
MrKaddan 1 year ago
@MrKaddan I have used 81.6 x 38 wheels because it's a relatively small model.
searme 1 year ago
@searme Anyways keep on building, I like your models, especially the trial trucks :D
MrKaddan 1 year ago
@searme What sets have those wheels in them?
BunnyEatCarrot 1 year ago
@searme what I mention in my last comment is a model for fun not for trials pnuematic steering would be to bulky

@kittenswithketchup Yup, they do.
searme 1 year ago
@searme that is so awesome. i need to get back into building LEGOs... =/
kittenswithketchup 1 year ago
@searme i think you should integrate 2wheel 4 wheel drive switch into a model
axeaxe46 1 year ago
@axeaxe46 That would be against the rules.
searme 1 year ago
@searme I thought if you had a motor on a valve switch that went to the steering I'll draw it up just send me your email
axeaxe46 1 year ago
@axeaxe46 I'm not going to use pneumatics for steering, thank you.
