@myyoot it was spiked with drugs. Like Alex said, moloko vellocet, synthamesc, and drencom. I'm not sure what the other ones are but synthamesc is synthetic mescaline.
If u have the song on ur ipod u can turn off the volume in the video and play both the song and the video simultaneously, that's what i'm doing, and i'm loving it
I don't know why people are insulting this song. I think it fits well. In the actual movie they have Beethoven playing constantly. Fuckers don't know what they are on about.
At first, I thought this video would be another shit 'A Clockwork Orange' video with some stupid pop song. But it actually turned out to be a brilliant video! Good job!
do you know how angry stanley kubrick would be if he saw this butchered video of his? C'mon man, i know you have an editing program handy, but respect the guy and don't put shitty music over his masterpiece.
I certainly did not make this to "anger" Kubrick by any means. In fact, I practically worship the ground this man walked on. This video was (in my eyes) a celebration of this fantastic film that I have adored since childhood.
And...admit it. At least give a little credit to a LADY who digs "A Clockwork Orange" and did not make a tribute video to "The Notebook" accompanied by a Norah Jones song.
Well, perhaps our definitions of child differ. I had just turned twelve when I saw it for the first time....to me, that's still childhood. Maybe I should switch it to preteen? :)
@betterthansex123 im all for being open with your kids, my parents were extremely good to me, but i feel the message of the film would be lost on a child, the contrasting scenes, the recurring themes. A child would just see the ''ultraviolence'' with nothing to contrast it, hence it will take away a completely different message from the film. I should know, for example i watched 2001 with my parents as a kid and was so bored, watched it when i was 15 and fell in love with it.
@MrAppleby56 Yeah I definitely had the same thing happen to me with Space Odyssey but if my parents had been smart enough to explain things to me then I would have understood I'm sure. Left to their own devices a kid might not understand but I think kids learn very well and could be made to understand if it were explained. They may very well not care and tune you out and not be interested like kids do, but to make that assumption for them is denying the kid education that they may be open to.
@theVINTAGEfilms -- not at all "shitty music". Kubrick chose Bach, Puccini, Lwduig Van and others. I believe he would be confortable with such a musical approach. If you dont believe me, you jelly bottle of cheap stinking oil, come and get one in the yarbles ... IF YOU HAVE ANY JARBLES :P
It's things like this that make me think companies shouldn't be able to claim music as property. They should legally hold the rights to the selling of the music only, nothing else. Leaving people to do with it what they will. If people aren't profiting from it's use what's the problem in them using it? They're creating free publicity for said music and expressing their artistic creativity through a visual interpretation of the lyrics and tone of a song.
@SnowmanFromTheOven: Exactly! It's not like I was scheming in my dorm room two years ago like Mr. Burns saying: "Ah, yes! I think I will rip off Muse today!" Fuck that. I wanted to make a sweet music video using clips from a movie that I LOVE with a really awesome song! Apparently that's a bad thing.
Why do they take down the audio tracks? It's advertising for the song. I don't know how many times I've bought a song because I heard it on a Youtube video and liked it.
hehe 'i implore you to mute it' and play muse anyway. it works. if you really wanted it on youtube with the muse track, then put it up without typing in muse or super massive blackholes in the title or description. that way the record company wont find it to report it.
because of this movie/book, ive actually really grown to like classical music. haha :3

Thanks again for all of the positive feedback I still get from this video.
I came up with the idea for this project roughly three years ago and it's so cool to know people still watch it and appreciate it!
Cheers to all the little droogies out there who love "A Clockwork Orange"!

This is a statement on the darker aspects of Human society. Authority versus Rebellion.
The question is: Whose is the better of two Evils? Rebellious youth or mind-controlling Government?
I know where my loyalties lie. If only in an artistic sense.
