Lets be honest the only reason why Dwight Howard is on the cover is because he is in the NBA finals. Same as Kobe Bryant (2k10). If LeBron James and the CAVS knock off Dwight and the Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals, we would be seeing a whole nother cover with number 23 (LeBron James) being on the cover.. EA just usually tends to reward the superstar who goes the furthest and since Kobe was taken they went to Dwight... I think they should take their Madden 10 approach 2 athletes on cover.

I was a huge Live Fan. That is, 'till i got NBA 2k9. 2K9 is just more realistic. and all NBA live has is the dunk contest and features like that but when it comes down to it, 2k9 is just better overall. EA should just stick to Madden from now on.

I hope it's more realistic than NBA Live 09 and I hope this new disc will be more stronger because most of my NBA Live games are broken but my NBA 2Kgames are really scratched up badly but they still work perfectly unlike NBA Live. One small scratch = death of the CD.

Ignorance at it's finest EA just brought over the guy who built 2k's gameplay foundation. And don't forget 2k ported over their old engine not much left to do with that. Live started fresh now the sky is their limit.

I agree. I've been playing 2k ever since next gen. Best game out there. But they just hired Mike Wang, and EA is one of the richest game developers out there. If EA let mike wang deliver his image for nba live, the sky is the limit!
