I loved watching this show growing up as a kid! I remember it was one of the first game shows other than The Price is Right I saw, though it never was able to take off unfortunately like most Canadian game shows. Just not enough funding up here, such a shame.
My friend made a video of her just saying hi a chatting and he called her scottish scum! and he said the whole of scotland was a complete joke! so do u think my comment was justified now or do you still need to stick ur nose in?
Ah, the first original GS produced by USA...much better than their 90s efforts (USA Gonzo Games, Quicksilver, Free 4 All). Personally, I think it got better during the 2nd season, when they added that big-ass Jackpot sign above Mike's podium and started giving away a car for running the board, as well as the $10K Riddler contest.
I like Geoff Edwards & Jackpot even though i never seen this show before when I was little. But I have been reading about this show. They should be putting this on GSN and hopefully I would like to host the show but this time with junior high kids and they be playing for the $50,000 like the 70's version of jackpot. But this is a good game.
when i was 10 or so and my grandma was dying of cancer, we would watch the USA lineup of game shows every day, and this was one of our favorites. thanks for the memories.
This video is making me sea-sick.

There was also a Jackpot that ran in the mid seventies. I had the home version board game as a kid.

This clip seems to show potential for big winnings... My memories of this show seem to be 'For $24, my riddle is...' Ah, Canadian TV.
