The Chevy Camaro has an amazing beauty, but the 0.37 and 0.35 drag coefficients of the two versions are very few efficient compared to other sport racing cars (the BMW M5 and Nissan GT-R, for example, have 0.27 drag coef. both, what makes both nearly 37% and 30% more aerodynamic.

But I have to agree that this happens because Chevy Camaro is a Muscle Car, and muscle cars are more strong than aerodynamical. Very Beautiful, the Camaro is Gorgeous.

I dunno what this model is but it starts around 21 or $22 000 and i dont think it's expensive at all. It's a beautiful, powerful car. Going by whats on Wikipedia, a Lexus IS-F did it in 8:18, and a Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 did it in 8:22. So its definately not bad at all. And the Camaro is not claiming to be a supercar. For that, you need the Corvette ZR1, which had a time of 7:26.4. Thats ONE second slower than a Ferrari Enzo!

My opinion is that the stereotypes everyone has are mostly true. American cars tend to be all about power and handling is given a lower priority. European cars always seem to be good (although somewhat generically so in my eyes) and extortionately expensive. Japanese cars tend to be well balanced and affordable but not as fast (mostly) as American and European cars. Some car companies do make cars that break the mould. For example; the Nissan GTR, Chevy' Corvette Z06 and Bugatti Veyron.

I grew up on Chevy and want to seem them rebound but Ford has had both GM and chrysler beat for years. My parents still cling to that bowtie because it USED to be the best. And their trucks and suburbans are constantly in the shop and all I do is brakes, tires, and oil changes on my reliable, and nicer Fords. That's why GM took a bailout, still went Bankrupt and Ford is still the original, the first, the best and the only one that will stick around. I hope I'm wrong but we'll see.

Seriously? I love American made cars too but GM is bankrupt because they are just as expensive as BMW and Mercedes now and yes, they are not made nearly as well and fall apart a lot faster.
