people always rag on the controls for this game. but i loved them. I loved being able to attack 2 guys at once when one was trying to sneak up on you, you would just kick him in the gut then punch him in the face and throw his ass off into the water. you could kill guys in several different ways and just mess around with the fighting system. this is deffenetly an underrated game the gets shit on because nobody wants to learn HOW to play it.

This game was basically a prototype to Double Dragon. I mean...the enemy A.I. was a bit more aggressive in Renegade and the difficulty was obviously more challenging but that's about it. Nevertheless, the flaws in Renegade helped make Double Dragon the classic it is today.
