@cgkk24 connect your Ethernet cable in the back of your console, then on your PS3's XMB (main menu) go to settings and go all the way down there you will see network settings go to connection test, save changes and your all set

If you are from europe then go and make another user on your PS3 then sign up to playstation network but say ur from the USA get an USA address from somewhere and make an account you'll see what I mean.

When you have done all that log on as that user and you'll see the scrolling announcements under the clock and calender :-)

Did anyone see a preview video of ps3 firmware 3.1.5? I upgraded 2 nights ago and I am curious to see how the new features work. I would like to see a preview of it on youtube but it is not there. It's the update where you can transfer your psp go game saves on your ps3 and can possibly play the hand held on your ps3. You can also transfer your account info from one ps3 to another ps3. Let me know if there's a video up on this. I had no problems after upgrading to 3.1.5 by the way!

Go PS3, now all we need is Last FM. The last update I made for my 360 it crashed and destroyed my system gave me the 3 red lights of death. I was pretty shocked it lasted this long. XBOX 360 is garbage, it is a scam to get you to pay that xtra money to fix it. My 360 junk is laying in a bag on the floor and it wont get fixed. Microsoft products are garbage just like WinJunk7.

I nearly throw my PS3 out the windows after this shit installed. the PS3 keep turning off and loosing DNS and the controllers would not work on wireless after about 12 resets and swearing it started to run properly again!

After I downloaded 3.10 into my PS3, I tried signing online and it said "The connection with PlayStation Network timed out". Does that means  PSN is having maintenance? Will it automatic be back to normal someday? I had this problem before, but it only lasted for hours, then I was able to log back online to my PS3. It has been a whole day with this problem so far for me this time. I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this problem.

*TROPHY SYNC UPDATE* If you are one of the people who's trophies were not syncing (like mine) I have the solution; Go to your message inbox and delete all sent and received messages, turn off your system and then the next time you turn on the system (I recommend leaving it for a day) the trophies will sync properly.
