Brandon Flowers is Mormon. Almost all of his songs are influenced by this viewpoint. Death. Life. Romance. All of these concepts are certainly colored by the belief system he embraces wholeheartedly. He is (very) shy about talking about the meaning of the songs he writes. It could be worse... at least he isn't into witch craft. FYI the videos rarely have much of anything to do with the songs. Certainly the Killers are one of the best sounding LIVE CONCERT bands in history.

"All the Pretty Faces" is about spiritual lust overcoming physical lust. Twilight is commonly thought about as being about superhuman self-restraint. My understanding of the song is more refined now. Thanks for pointing out a crude and thus somewhat inaccurate comment of a beautiful song. "All the Pretty Faces" can hardly be understood outside the context of LDS ethics and cultural behavior. That isn't to say it can't be enjoyed. Many Killers songs are similarly effected. Hope that helps.
