No you won't. It's not 1774 anymore. Attention whoring actions does not impress the world anymore. Especially from a bunch of nutcases like your lot. It's funny how you guys support a religious extremist.
He has support from Theocrats because he doesn't believe in the seperation of church and state. He believes the "Founding Fathers" where christians who founded this nation on the Christian faith. He is a member of an organization who denies Evolution, claiming that it's a humanist plot to destroy God in the US, denies global warming, and believes AIDs does not come from HIV.
Making the US a Christian Nation! Yes lets do that, one nation under god, we saw what happened with Rome as a Theocracy, slaughtered nearly half the world who weren't Christians... and people wonder why so many are Christian today!
Christianity, with its doctrine of humility, of forgiveness, of love, is incompatible with the State, with its haughtiness, its violence, its punishment, its wars - Leo Tolstoy
Well, he's right. About 76% of Americans are nominally Christian. But if he acknowledges tat fact then I guess he doesn't have any work to do. Or have you heard him propose any policies toward this (unprecedented) goal, which is remarkably unconstitutional for a constitutionalist?
This is strange because the biggest part of his campaign is keeping the government out of people's lives in every way possible.
Is this supposed to targeted at Evangelicals? Do they have the same reverence for Mary, mother of Jesus, as the Catholics? You might want another song.
"government intervention to the current degree is counterproductive"
Not necessarily. Health care in the US, for example, Is completely privatized and costs Americans 15% of their GDP. This is higher than any developed nation with socialized health care, and yet still results in a lower life expectancy. Clearly, in this case, its the lack of government involvement that is counterproductive.
This situation is also pretty similar to many other institutions that Ron Paul would privatize.
Well the great depression (which followed a massive economic boom) was actually caused by a lack of government intervention. Infact the federal reserve now actively regulates the interest rate to prevent such a thing from happening again.
Excessive debt can also encourage a depression, and it is the republicans, not the democrats, who repeatedly put your nation into debt.
"Ron Paul does not share the same veiws of any other republican "
Ron Paul seems to think that privatizing everything will solve all of societies problems, when in fact its not that simple. Some institutions, in fact, are better left public.
"I don't know if you realize but we are 3.5 trillion dollars in debt. would you call that a depression? "
The US is over 9 trillion dollars in debt and the American economy is definitely in a slump.
The great depression happened because the federal reserve failed to step in a properly resolve the problem before it snowballed out of control. I don't think they would make the same mistake today.
"every dollar that the federal reserve sends out has a 15% debt"
This isn't the fault of the federal reserve, this is because the (republican controlled) congress passed a spending plan that spends more than it taxes. George Bush is also at fault for not using his power to veto the plan.
The Knox County TN Election Commission has lost my voter registration twice in the past 3 months. Their private foreign contractor Danaher Systems Corp loses 20,000 registered votes each election. strange commercial. It doesn't say enough. I'm glad he's only on his 1st wife, but it implies there could be more in the future. It says something about his morals, but needs to say alot more.
I'm not even a Republican (anymore), but I think you have mistaken about Ron Paul's values. However, we do agree he's the best that the Republicans have to offer.
This video clip doesnt represent Ron Pauls principles. He believes in limited government NOT theocracy. Parents should raise there kids NOT government. Stop slandering Ron Paul.

Am having second thots abt Ron Paul. I'm out of sync with his conservative base and realized he is more of a neocon than I thought socially and economics-wise. I can't deny any longer his xtianity bothers me & the fact that he panders to the rightwing values voter types & xtian zionists. And to top it all he surrounds himself with arrogant campaign staffers. Might have to drop Paul.
Look at his voting record in Congress!! He has consistanly voted for what he beleives. Has never varied. 10 years and every year he gives the GAO back part of his salary and has for 10 years. He really pisses of other Repubs.
One's personal life, as in one's marriage, is not everything, is not always the most faithful (pun unintentional) reflection of one's values or loyalties, but it does count for something. Ron Paul's long and happy marriage does show a measure of commitment which, for example, Guiliani cannot emulate.
How many photoshop tries did it take them to come up with that last picture? Did somebody from Hillary's campaign make this video? Does not look anywhere near as good quality video as the ones Ron Paul does...
What's with that six-sided star pin? I could care less what religion he practices as long as we're also free to believe the way we want to believe. Ron Paul is for maximum freedoms instead of bigger, more intrusive government. He gets my vote!!!

So, stop practicing your semantic sophistry and actually respond to what I'm saying, you pseudo-intellectual piece of shit.
George W Bush is also still on his first wife, and we all know what a brilliant president he is...
Seriously, Ron Paul is a wonderful person and I'm sure he has only the best intentions, but the truth is he's a political extremist who has no concept of moderation or balance. Yes I know all the other candidates are douche bags, but perhaps electing another candidate would be the lesser evil.
Is he a political extremist because of his beliefs per se, or are we so used to politics as usual that we see real conservatism (actually conserving something unlike the neocons have done) as extreme? If that's extreme, I'm proud to be extreme. Just saying.
This conservation is only an illusion. Instead of paying taxes for things such as health care and education, Ron Paul would have you pay some corporation directly. Either way you have to pay. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
Also, when it comes to things like health care and education, you defiantly don't want these to be privatized. Unlike the government institutions, a corporation does not exist to serve the people, it exists to make a profit.
In order to make a profit it has to serve the people. People are not as easily fooled in person as they are at the ballot box. No matter how bad the government does something, it's not going out of business, like a private business would. And it's immune to lawsuits. Government exists to serve itself and accumulate power.
There is often a direct conflict between making a profit and benefiting society as a whole. For example Doctors get richer if their patients remain sick, lawyers get richer when people do not settle their disputes, and software companies can often make more money if they produce buggy, low quality software, and bill their customers for service calls.
Sometimes a corporation profits from serving society, but sometimes it profits from harming it.
"Government exists to serve itself and accumulate power."
When it comes to the ruling party I mostly agree, however I was referring more to government institutions and socialized programs. Yes they're far from perfect, but from personal experience I have never seen a government institution try to rip people off or exploit them for profit, yet I see private corporations doing this all the time. Government programs quite often even run at a loss , because doing so serves the greater good.
Also from personal experience, Most Federal institutions are so overwhelmed that the person seeking help is quite often lost or put off. I beleive it is arranged that way purposely for bugettary or finnacial reasons.
Also, I think people are much smarter when relying on their own devices and much, much more careful about their choices when they grow up and stop relying on 'the nanny' feds.
There is something to be said about a man who can not only be faithful to one woman, but who can also HANG ONTO one woman. Says a lot about both of their characters. I love Ron Paul and will die protecting him given the chance.
More important than the fact that Ron Paul most likely is a christian, is that he believes that the federal government should have no affect on the matter. That he adheres to the Constitution, but if your own opinions of who to vote for flow along lines of "democrat v Republican" or "pro- v anti- abortion rights" then all of this Domenation challenge stuff isn't for you. This is about having a person in power who will defend the consitution in actuality and not just in oath.
No, Ron Paul IS a Christian Fundie. If you can't live w/ that, maybe you should stop supporting him. I'm amazed at how little Paul fanboys actually know about his policy stances and beliefs
Not very creative. That would be the stupidest commercial ever aired. But... Go Ron Paul. He has much awesome things to say, he is the true voice of the American people, not these corporate globalist shills that have been in office since JFK.
This is clearly a smear video made by someone who just joined YouTube. Ron Paul is definitely not for a theocracy. He would not remove "filth" from the internet as he is against regulating the internet and in favor of free speech. If you want a theocracy, do not vote Ron Paul, if you want a government that respects your individual rights, Ron Paul is your man!
What the hell is this? This is not an approved Ron Paul message! This is a low budget attempt to smear the good name of Ron Paul. He is not for a theocracy, but a representative democracy as dictated by the Constitution! Shame on you!!!!
The First amendment (or any other constitutional provision) must be strictly construed to reflect the intent of the Founding Fathers. The language is clear- Congress simply is prohibited from passing laws establishing religion or prohibiting the free exercise of religion. There certainly is no mention of any "separation of church and state", although Supreme Court jurisprudence over the decades constantly asserts this mystical doctrine. -Ron Paul
Ron Paul is great and everything, but seriously, this nation is not a Christian nation. Seriously, Ron Paul is a wonderful person and I'm sure he has only the best intentions, but the truth is he's a political extremist who has no concept of moderation or balance. Yes I know all the other candidates are douche bags, but perhaps electing another candidate would be the lesser evil.
bushslayer 4 years ago
Greater or lesser, evil is evil.
Is he a political extremist because of his beliefs per se, or are we so used to politics as usual that we see real conservatism (actually conserving something unlike the neocons have done) as extreme? If that's extreme, I'm proud to be extreme. Just saying.
thornwellhead 4 years ago 2
"actually conserving something"
This conservation is only an illusion. Instead of paying taxes for things such as health care and education, Ron Paul would have you pay some corporation directly. Either way you have to pay. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
Also, when it comes to things like health care and education, you defiantly don't want these to be privatized. Unlike the government institutions, a corporation does not exist to serve the people, it exists to make a profit.
bushslayer 4 years ago
In order to make a profit it has to serve the people. People are not as easily fooled in person as they are at the ballot box. No matter how bad the government does something, it's not going out of business, like a private business would. And it's immune to lawsuits. Government exists to serve itself and accumulate power.

"to make a profit it has to serve the people"
There is often a direct conflict between making a profit and benefiting society as a whole.

PS: this issue (abotion rights) according to the Constitution is left to the individual states.
Impericalevidence 4 years ago
More important than the fact that Ron Paul most likely is a christian, is that he believes that the federal government should have no affect on the matter. That he adheres to the Constitution, but if your own opinions of who to vote for flow along lines of "democrat v Republican" or "pro- v anti- abortion rights" then all of this Domenation challenge stuff isn't for you. This is about having a person in power who will defend the consitution in actuality and not just in oath.

I think this video is from someone who is against Ron Paul and wants to discredit him.

No, Ron Paul IS a Christian Fundie. If you can't live w/ that, maybe you should stop supporting him. I'm amazed at how little Paul fanboys actually know about his policy stances and beliefs

Any proof for this in his voting record? Or anything he has ever said?
Feel free to look but your not going to find anything.

Not very creative. That would be the stupidest commercial ever aired. But... Go Ron Paul. He has much awesome things to say, he is the true voice of the American people, not these corporate globalist shills that have been in office since JFK.

Ron Paul is clearly keeping the church and state separated. The US Constitution is his premise. He defends with integrity and consistency.

Ha ha ha!
the truth is, it is time to end devisiveness. Just because someone is Christian, does not make them stupid, or a bad person!

This is clearly a smear video made by someone who just joined YouTube. Ron Paul is definitely not for a theocracy. He would not remove "filth" from the internet as he is against regulating the internet and in favor of free speech. If you want a theocracy, do not vote Ron Paul, if you want a government that respects your individual rights, Ron Paul is your man!
schulwitz 4 years ago
What the hell is this? This is not an approved Ron Paul message! This is a low budget attempt to smear the good name of Ron Paul. He is not for a theocracy, but a representative democracy as dictated by the Constitution! Shame on you!!!!
slippywhistle 4 years ago
Uh yes he is.
-Ron Paul
