I love this! This is hands-down the best drum performance in popular music for a long long time, and it unless you know to listen, you would miss it behind all the other instruments. Most other drummers are just keeping time. This guy actually PLAYS his instrument.

I like the way Pick doesn't bash his crash for accents, just does and accent on his ride (zildjian K???) sounds great! so tasteful.... or just an accent on the crash. NO smashing. sounds like a jazzer.

for those who wonder, sounds like the parididdle btween hh and cym... bass drum play right hand part but leaves out the double... could be wrong.

@colourfulwithaU In that measure going into the next, it sounds a little off on the and of 2, but I think the kick drum plays 8th notes: "1 - (rest) - AND-3-AND-4-AND- | ONE... or, Ta - (rest)ti-ti-ti-ti-ti | Ta ... I don't hear the hi-hat foot doing anything...
