I wonder why if Manila has been proven able to host a A380, why doesnt Korean Air, Emirates, Quatas, or any other airline operating a A380 lands a A380 or 747 on the airport?
@ACDsRandomness2 ....I guess the reason is not about the ability of the airport in Manila to accommodate the plane, but rather....there is not enough business for these airlines to do so, meaning they don't have big enough passengers travelling between cities to fill the A380 planes, so I suspect the decision is based on demand & practicality.
@ACDsRandomness2 i asked one of the tower controllers and they said if an A380 parked on the terminals 2 other tubes or loading stations will be closed due to its size.
@ACDsRandomness2 coz some dumbass from higher ups decided to cgarge more tax, quatar air will stop flying to philippines, and others will follow suit.
@lebronakronjames231 they only have 2 747-400, that's all... they also have 2 or 3 A340-200, 2 777-300ER, 3 or 4 A330-300 and a couple of A320 and A319... :)
@loneaxolotl no matter how hard they wash it, the stains from oil and patched up paint from FOB are clearly visible. plane needs a repaint. hopefully a special edition repaint with cool liverage...
Hmm Are you shooting trough a hole trough the Hollowblocks Fence on Kaingin Road?? We stood at Kaingin Road back in July 2010, and our only problem was the wirefences over the hollowblocks. Otherwise good location to do spotting from. It's a busy road, even if you're peeking over the fences, 8 people clinging to the wall, people looked, but didn't care!! Good times!
@marikinaTV I don't think there's something wrong with PAL's Flag carrier design. Many countries flag carrier has the same style and yet they are very artistic and sensible as a group of people.Examples, the Emirates, Swiss Air,Air Canada,South African Airways etc, etc.
do they have pilipino pilot?

MrZero1911HD 2 months ago
@MrZero1911HD the 747 would only occupy the space of one tube/station at NAIA.
