  • I played this piece for my grandmother as she passed away--I was called by my mom and asked to and I put the phone on speaker, played and sang the whole thing, and minutes later she passed away. Funny thing, since my grandma told me once "I want you to play that when I die". Never knew it'd be so literal. It will always be in my heart in a special way now.

  • Its not often a piece sounds this extraordinary during a rough rehearsal. I would love to hear Julian & Jiaxin perform that with a 250 pc ensemble orchestra behind them.
