Me and my best friend r doing a fundraiser at our school to help make a difference in animal abuse. We are making bracelets on the that have "MMH" which stands for Making Miracles Happen. Animal Abuse happens everywhere and needs to he stopped, together we can fight it.

Every time I see this commercial on TV I change the channel. I can't look at it for one second. I couldn't even look at this video. Why do people waste their time going to the pet store if they're going to abandon them?

I think it's sad how certain comments on here express that some animals are less "valuable" than others. Whether the animal in question is a dog, cat, horse, pig, cow, chicken, snake, or human -- no one deserves to die or to be abused. I don't care if you think you "need" to eat meat; what happens on factory farms to animals is abuse and people need to stop pussy footing around that fact. Animal's do nothing to change the value of their life and yet humans attempt to place value on them anyway.

I agree with some of the comments below me. I'm all for saving abused animals, and seeing these hurt animals makes me sad, but these commercials seem a little evil to me. They seem to make the commercial as depressing and exaggerated as possible to guilt you into sending money to something you wouldn't have been concerned about in the first place. When I watch this, it seems to just scream "You're a terrible human being if this doesn't guilt you into giving us your money."

@drumwrist0123 The closest anyone has been able to find for the new commercial is Explosions in the Sky - Six days at the Bottom of the Ocean. A lot of times, commercials will have to put their own spin on songs to avoid copyright infringements and to do it without the original artists permission or compensation. I too love the new song, and I've done everything to try to find it, but this is the closest you'll get.

I think it's sad how certain comments on here express that some animals are less "valuable" than others. Whether the animal in question is a dog, cat, horse, pig, cow, chicken, snake, or human -- no one deserves to die or to be abused. I don't care if you think you "need" to eat meat; what happens on factory farms to animals is abuse and people need to stop pussy footing around that fact. Animal's do nothing to change the value of their life and yet humans attempt to place value on them anyway.

I agree with some of the comments below me. I'm all for saving abused animals, and seeing these hurt animals makes me sad, but these commercials seem a little evil to me. They seem to make the commercial as depressing and exaggerated as possible to guilt you into sending money to something you wouldn't have been concerned about in the first place. When I watch this, it seems to just scream "You're a terrible human being if this doesn't guilt you into giving us your money."

@ssuperslugful So you disagree with the balance of nature? how do we get the protein we need? meat, from animals, that are dead. If we didn't, natural balance would grow out of the norm. Example: hunters stop hunting deer. too many deers, not enough food, deer die, not enough food for higher lvling predators, higher lvling predators die, go extinct. you happy? environmentalists/vegetarians often preach about the preservation of nature without realizing the consequences.

@7poppasmurf7 Perhaps you don't realize that many animals killed on factory's farmed are bred solely to be killed for food. It's NOT population control to eat meat. Do you think that if we get "too many" humans we should start killing them off? It's population control, you know. Let's start with the weak people, like the physically & mentally handicapped so we'll make sure that we will only have "superior" people left after this genocide. Sound wrong? It is. And so is treating animals like that.

This is pure HSUS propaganda. Less than one percent of the money you give these people will actually go to help the animals your seeing on this vid. This is designed purely to pull on your heart strings and your purse strings.Most of the money you donate to these "people" will go toward pension funds for the higher ups , lobbying that attacks farmers and ranchers and more fund raising such as you see here.. Give your money to your local animal shelters and actually help an animal in need.
