Just checked on snopes.com, which I find to be completely reliable. Absolutely nothing about whether the Beatles did or didn't like the cartoons. While Wiki's pretty informative, I don't find it to be reliabIe, since just about anyone can write about anything.

I like to think they were at least okay with the cartoons and didn't hate them. Whether they liked the cartoons or not, I'm glad they're still out there to enjoy.

I just want to say that it's encouraging to see kids as young as 10 watching these cartoons and liking them. You know good stuff when you see it, and you know crap when you see it.

I hear rumors that the Beatles hated these cartoons. I hope it's not true. There's a clip somewhere of them visiting the studio where the cartoons were made. It doesn't say either way how they felt.

"Hard Days Night" is my favorite, partially because of this cartoon. I remember when i was a kid watching the show on television and I believe this may have been the first time I heard it, I'm not certain. The Beatles were so popular during this time that they were playing their records in heavy rotation on the radio.

I enjoyed them, but the Beatles apparently hated them, but they had no control over their image in those days, which is why they initially distanced themselves from the Yellow Submarine film. All the episodes were gradually bought up by Neil Aspinal when he was head of Apple Corps, which tightly controls what goes out in the Beatles name. I don't think Apple will ever let them see the light of day again!
