  • Irony. They burned a cross during the live show, then Dio said "God bless you all" at the end of the show. And Dio didn't believe in God. Oh well, it's still kick-ass in every sense of the word.

    R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio \m/

  • i prefer ozzy

  • I think sabbath is trying to keep dio singing ozzy songs a secret because honestly dio is awesome. His self titled band, the dio ages of sabbath, but he just can't sing ozzy songs. It makes me want to rip my ears off and burn them, and not in that order. He just puts too much swing in his vocals for it... I'm sorry but dio just can't sing ozzy songs.

  • This is great, but I PERSONALLY like Ray Gillen and Ian Gillan in Black Sabbath.

Their voices are just so powerful.

  • Ozzy is a very good writer, but Dio is a very good singer and better than Ozzy

  • Ozzy never wrote shit. Maybe 5 songs in his entire career...maybe...

  • Its good, But I never never knew Dio Did some of the Ozzy year songs. Pretty gusto if only ozzy did some of the Dio era songs that would be pretty cool.

  • nice version, Dio was great and so was Ozzy.

  • dio must have been drunk because i rarely ever hear him swear during a song, dio is a amazing singer, long live the ozzy, dio and

    gillan years of sabbath

  • Reply to Blacksabbathisgod:

Your forgetting about Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, Rob Halford, David Donato, Glenn Hughes and Dave Walker. (Sorry if I missed anyone.)

  • love i never heard dio swear he doesnt seem like the swearing type wow

  • He also throws down an F-bomb in the '92 version of Heaven and Hell during the "Little White Sheep" section. I posted that on here as well.

  • yea i heard that he went crazy in that song about the angel and hell and all that

  • You mean the "little white shape" segment...he does that in every live version.

That said, I think Dio was pissed during this concert, because Fred Nile dissed Sabbath in the press, calling them baby-killers, satanists, and a bunch of other BS. Sabbath did a 15+ min. version of Heaven and Hell(name dropping Fred Nile) during the Sydney show and Dio actually had the roadcrew make a wooden cross that would ignite on fire on his cue. He got the whole crowd into it. It was his way of "revenge".

  • To clarify further, Fred Nile was (and still is) a right-wing conservative in Australia. Think an Australian Pat Robertson.

  • damn thats crazy!!!

  • heaviest version of paranoid ive ever heard

  • The best Dio era version of Paranoid I've heard! The sound is HEAAVVVY!!

  • dont know what planet your on but thats not sabbath..the true sabbath.if i wanted to hear a rip off id watch idol!

  • Uh, yeah it is. The true Sabbath is the one with Tony Iommi in it. Sabbath did more albums WITHOUT Ozzy than they did with him. It's just a cute little fact I thought I'd throw out there. Any real Sabbath fan knows that Sabbath doesn't revolve around Ozzy.

  • Hey Blacksabfan....any chance I could get this as an MP3?

  • I could always email it to you. Just message me with an address.

  • why don't you shut the fuck up joshkrystal, every single incarnation of sabbath has been apart of one sabbath, basially sabbath has always been sabbath, just without ozzy, bill ward, and later on geezer butler, but toni has stayed the full 40 years, they started out as sabbath in 1969, and they always have been that one true sabbath, every era is fucking awesome, from ozzy to dio to the gillians, ian and ray, and of course the tony martin era was great as well, get ur fucking facts straight ass

  • Oh my! You da man! Love that it's an australian version, like me. Thanks for posting this.
