Thank you. Here in Taiwan, we have a very famous Vet who is the top in cropping ears. Basically if the vet gets the shape correct, then, and if the master could do a good job, the ears will turn out like those of my dob.

@thatsfanfreakitastic Thank you so much. My dob is very also a good guard dog. He protects very well. I have a maid in house; my dob is friendly with her in the guarden; but, if she is inside the house cleaning the house, my dob will be very carefully watching her.

@7284carlos There is a Vet in Taiwan who is the most well known for ear cropping. I went there to have my dob done. Once the shape was done, I took a lot more care in tapping him, carefully observing the directions. It took me 4 months to get the ears done.

Actually they are just training collars. I put 2 collars on him, different length, just to see how he looks. Usually you would be able to find those collars in ordinary pet shops. But I think good quality ones may need to take time to find to make sure they don't clutch dog fur.

@bbald001 Thank you very much for the message. He is friendly but if someone shows aggressive behavior to me, he would be protective. I don't know what type of ear type it is. But I use tampon to erect the ears. There is one trick, you need to mind for the direction the ears are facing.

THank you for your comment. Because my dob is quite big, I am afraid of his joints that would be prone to get problems. So, I do have some prevention measures to help reduce the pressure of his joints along with Vetplus's joint supplement called synoquime. Good luck with you dogie.

Sorry for replying to you so late. I did not check the message on this page. I used tampon to do his ears for 4 months. Every 2 days I changed a new pairs for him. The tape I used was the best quality 3M surgery type. As my dog got bigger, I just prolong the tampon to adjust to the length of his ears. Good luck!

To be honest, I use Tempon to erect his ears. It is hygenic and easy to get air through. The total erection durition was about 5 months.
