  • Best review I have seen so far of the vk 212 ,very useful for my decision to buy one. Very good playing. Fuck the haters and the racist..you are a great player and reviewer. Thanks :)

  • pak poh pak pak piki ph bung pak gling glong ding pak? ding dong glap pak thu bieu chang klo pho pak jang? poo poo fart fart? wtf?!

  • amp is pure crap1 save yo money!

  • TY for this demo ;-)

  • Getting this amp soon....great, clear vid of the lead channel response. Thanks fo rthe help!

  • sounds sick, really crunchy

  • yo he might not speak english but he can fuckin play lol music is a universal language :-)

  • Comment removed

  • Why do people care about the language? This video is all about the amp's drive sound so it's doesn't matter what language he's speaking and if you guys dont like it, just f**** off and watch other videos that are in "English" rather than ruin people's life. For me, personally this is one of the best reviews of the Peavey Valve King.

  • @MrPetersonic100 I seriously doubt he ruined anyone's life by saying "Speak English"

  • english or gtfo

  • could i put a few pedals in front of this (in order:wah, big muff fuzz, EHX worm modulation, boss dd-7) and it wont sound muddy?

  • AHH, Don't listen to Engalook.. :)

  • Very good samples of the sounds you can get on this. Great playing as well.

  • Speak English you fuck!!!!

  • @cyclemania why don't you learn his language? u cunt

  • @Haddockxyz300 Yes, there isn't just english but it is the only language pretty much everybody can understand you egotistical shit face :)

  • Now that's how to do a demo.

  • the valveking is awesome, but to get the modern type metal screamo crap kids are looking for you have to swap the speakers with celestion GT-12 's or Carvin GT-12's...its a beast without pedals. My Marshall JCM 2000 sucks compared to this amp. when i used it on my 1960A cab it was a whole different aggressive beast. Great amp. awesome clean tones, good for blues , country, rock , metal, and hardcore. very versatile. This has tons of distortion. no pedals needed.

  • WTF are he saying XD

  • i just understood "volume" lmao

  • What he say? lol

  • @Jackyouroff He was probably bragging about his shitty ass tone

  • I play metal (my guitar is Ibanez MTM2 with EMG's), should I buy Valveking 212 with a tube screamer or a Peavey vypyr tube 60?

I will be using the amp for recording

  • @drugdrunkker

The valveking seems to be more ROCK amp. It can play metal too, but it has no agresive tone.

The Vypyr has VERY good distortion. I THINK it has an usb out for recording (the Vypyr 75 does, the tube 60, i dont know)

  • @LukiSHG I know yo comment is a month old but I feel you on that point. I got a Valveking head with the hopes of getting a metal machine on a budget and it didn't sound at all like I thought it would. It has no death-metal bite to it, but you get a sweet rock tone though. The closest I could get to a metal tone I like was like Mastodon. I think I'm gonna trade it in and get something else...

  • @drugdrunkker Yes, buy the TS9! But get the Keeley Mod though. Trust me.

  • I have a VK212. Is it normal that I have a lot of feedback when the gain boost is engaged? When I stop playing the amp goes intro screaming mode afterwards

  • @ChaserHUN yeah that's normal dude, just get a noise suppressor, that prevents all the feedback.

  • These are OK amps. Its a cheap, very loud valve amp with good tone as standard. And its a lot better than a transistor or moddeling amp for sure so cut it some slack all you Marshall/Messa users (who paid 3 times the price of the Valveking)! :)

  • damn now thats how you demo some distortion

  • The Volume button doesn't do anything noticeable at all. This is a mediocre amp at best. The OD on it is sub par, the clean is really nice. Can't take a pedal worth a shit.

  • I think it's cool sounding if you already boost middle all the way up and just adjust treble, effective way to switch from a full sounding tight rythm guitar to soft solo guitar :)

  • is it good for death metal??

  • @LostAngelsjk99 Not at all. It doesn't have enough on tap gain.

  • @LostAngelsjk99 hell no, honestly, this amp is nothing good for more than a paperweight, its cheaply made, breaks easily and fits a very specific style, though ive seen people play death metal with this amp before, your better off buying a true metal amp for the money, you can get a bugera or like a spidervalve combo for around the same price and you'll get much more versatillity and its beast for metal.

  • @custommade21 do u hav any idea if it would be good for like thrash and doom?

  • You are an idiot! A sheep. Get a brain.

  • @LostAngelsjk99 yes but you need the right pedals like the ts9 and boss ns2

  • I want to buy a new amp, i want to buy Marshall avt 50 but they don't it anymore, so i've see this video and i want to ask (because i read on a lot of forum that this amp wasn't good for metal), is it this amp good for metal like Megadeth, Metallica. And is the 212 very different from the 112?

  • I HAVE AN AMP THAT IS REALLY LOUD BUT WHEN I PLAY IT AT HIGH VOLUMES I NEED TO TURN THE BASS KNOB BELOW LEVEL 5 (THE MIDDLE) LIKE 3 OR 2 BECAUSE IF I LEAVE IT AT 5 THE SPEAKER CANT HANDLE THAT MUCH BASS AND IT STARTS TO "DISTORT" I FEEL LIKE I WILL BLOW IT. DOES THIS AMP CAN HANDLE A LOT OF BASS AT HIGH VOLUMES WITHOUT BLOWING OR DISTORTING THE SPEAKERS????

  • @rambache yes it does, i do not own this amp but i just ordered it, my froend often puts his on at least 5 volume (very very loud) and it sounds amazing especially!!!! when trying to use low gian to sound like AC/DC or some high gain for a metal/van halen sound

  • does the Volume boost switch make a noticeable difference at low volume? As I don't seem to hear any difference with its press in or out!

  • @MRWHITE3535 At about 2 or 3 on the volume or 8 or 9 o clock yes it starts to make a difference but not on 1. The recording gear he uses probably has some sort of volume normalizer on it but yes it make a noticeable difference.

  • wow he's got that amp up LOUD!

  • @MrBlink41SUM Its only the channel volume. It doesn't show his master volume.

  • @tighttritenight

my vk100 head doesn't have a master volume....idk about the combos

  • class A or A/B ?

  • @lbessard switchable

  • han bao, chin kung pao, zi haun yi ching = awesome guitarist in asian

  • Chartreeo; you have the best demo's. Another thumbs up.

  • second that!!

  • Sounds great

  • ung lai! dam bao chat tjong tjen cha trung si

  • what tubes are you using?

  • learn to speak

  • fuck english! mother fucker!!!!!

  • These valvekings are made to go hard and heavy and I find my VK100 head extremely reliable when it comes to the heavy sound I want.

  • @Mudwurk7 so can the valveking head get a pretty awesome heavy sound?

  • @2112guitarplayer well I'm swayed to it more cause I use it to play in a hardcore/metal band, if you tune it right with a noise suppressor it makes a great tight sound which I thought for $900 new was great value. Sure there are better heads but for that price I was taken.

  • i agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So fucking unreliable though.

  • When you speak it sounds like beatboxing

  • all you guys wondering: "how can he sounds pretty good?"... the answer is in his/your hands!!! A good player can make almost every amp and guitar sound amazing!! Don't spend your money in vain and practice, practice, play!!! There's no shorter way to buy with money!

  • what mic placement are you using?

  • wich pickups/guitar are you using in this test?

  • he did it when his mum was on holiday so she could not hear him lol

  • buuuh..

    rombacarambapa oakapka rico suave?

  • this sounds alot diferent than my vk,

  • idk what the fuck this guys using but his tone sounds fucking amazing

  • this guy is using.... a peavey valveking vk212

    >_> the title pretty much explains it

  • haha yeh wtf?

  • Wish I could speak asian and damn this guy is the shit

  • @yoink22

    yeah asian is a language

  • if i had my volume on 5 it would smash the windows in my house!!!!

  • This is amp quite better in person, played it a number of times and kept going back between this and the bogner alchemist.

  • I had this amp, and I couldn't get sounds like that, no matter what I did! Guess I just had a crappy setup, lol

  • im in the same situation like u, but i think is also my guitar that its a cheap ibanez gio... so i need another xD

  • Yeah, could be it, but on the other hand, I have an Ibanez Xpt700, which sounds great through any other amp :D

  • omg you just made me piss my fucking pants...legend.

  • I like mine, but of course it can't be compared to the halfstack version. If you dial it right, it sounds great actually.

  • half on volume! shit that must be loud! and thats probably how he makes it sound good! :)

  • its a tube amp

    LOUDER=BETTER with tube amps

  • made in china

  • I want this amp! Even though I don't even know what language this is in!

  • Ok, very nice. But is better than Bandit 112, which I have and which is a solid state amp(combo amp) of which I am very satisfied? And when I say better, I want to say significant better. Like two times better, because this baby is also two times more expencive than my beauty.

  • I have this amp, well the head. This guy is making this amp sound like $2000 amp. That sustain WOW!

  • Is this amp all stock? Amazing tone. I don't see how you get so much OD, even when the gain knob is on one!

  • the boost button is on

  • look at the volume :D

  • I have this amp and It would be inaudible at 5 volume !

  • and his volume is on half

  • all hail chatreeo! best reviews around. even better than the ones where i can understand what they're saying!

  • Damn That sustain at 3:57 got me!

    im sold

  • how much is this amp used? Like $400?

  • brand new i got this amp 2 days ago for 669$ canadian money glad i bought it sounds great

  • Even though I don't understand a single word this dude says, I love his demos. He knows how to demo an amp. Like I said, even though I don't understand a word he says, I understand EXACTLY what he's trying to say with each control he's demo'ing. Great Job!

  • @betteroffshred yes but the best way is testing it i played that amp a few weeks ago and i will buy it in a few days :D

  • This amp sounds incredible even with everything at 12 o'clock as someone below said

  • test the Fender Frontman 212R.... xD

  • this sounds great even with everything straight up!

  • This guy gets the best tones!!!

  • this is the amp im getting thanks for the demo

  • very tasteful amp

  • nice...

  • YES THANK YOU!
