In one word: AMAZING! First of all the video brings back all the good memories from URU. The music you selected for this video is wonderful, not only is it a nice soundtrack to the URU screenshots, it's also a nice track to listen to when bringing back memories from the beautiful ages visited. This makes me want to watch the vid again and again, or for that matter play URU again. And it should make Cyan want to create another sequel to the greatest adventure of all times.

Put more URU worlds into disks like to D'ni and the Path of the Shell. This would make money for the producers, as well as keep people (for Years) enjoying the gaming. Bottom line, as I see it, there are many people who enjoy the travel as a new experience opens up, they never forget. Also that the way you go through life in the real world is remembered in the things you were doing while playing these games. It makes for good memories all around.

URU is the best thing that ever happened to PC gaming! All the Myst worlds are beyond cool! I wish Cyan would continue to make disks of new places and puzzles. URU Live is OK, but I like to explore alone. If they do make more worlds, I may never come back to the one I am in now.

WE WANT MORE!!! it's has been 4 years since the last myst came out. the story ended in that game, uru II would be an option, so many myst fans want to continue exploring...

Cyan should bring out something new, with insane graphics and of course the same genre as always before, because that's the only genre that remains satisfying to play after months of exploring.

well i have to say after myst came out, there were made an awful lot of myst-like games. I've tried one (mysterious journey II Chameleon), it isn't bad but it can't be compared to myst at all. As of course in all games, magic is possible, I would like it to bring those dead first person adventure games to life again.

Mysterious journey 1 Schizm is, in my opinion, a lot better than 2, so if you have the chance to play it, and like myst, I can really recommend it. It's a it harder, but the puzzles are better integrated into the world, and they are almost as good as the ones in Myst 4. Also, Aurora: faith of the ages is a really good game. Not as good as Schizm or Myst 1-5, but still well worth playing.

Has anyone realized that Myst textures have slowly gotten attemptedly techy-er, and consequentially more suckish?

@MyJudgement That's because Uru, its expansions, and Myst V didn't have pre-rendered graphics but instead let players move around freely in 3D space. Graphics can't be rendered with nearly as high detail in real time as they can be if they're pre-rendered. Myst 1-IV had pre-rendered graphics, and frankly I think we could use more games like them. Myst III and IV were more beautiful than any game I know of to be released since.

The online server has been down since April. Gametap dropped the game because of too few subscribers. Cyan Worlds plans on bringing Uru back in the future, but the date is not yet set.

I fear that the impending credit crunch will have a negative effect on that plan. It will hit small game-companies hard :(

No, Myst Online is being open sourced, so it wont have any impact financially :)

Nah: it's by Cyan again, so they will still need funds of some sort to keep it up and running. :(

They wont need to "keep it up and running"; although there'll probably be an 'official' shard, all the servers will be run/hosted by the community and guilds. That's the beauty of open source ^_^
