This is going to sound kind of strange, but when I first saw this movie Heaths death (In the movie) really bothered me. I'm a action and horror junkie so movie deaths don't faze me. Yet his death for some reason was hard to watch. Now all these years later it makes sense. After his death I had to always fast foward this scene until now. Anyways...RIP Heath.

The wounded oger Tavington go away, not mutilating the nerv-racking baby patriot. But that "good" boy go to Tavington (presumed dead) and plans to do something with the knive.

So who is the insane butcher? Tavi has good reasons for his terror actions. Suppressing terrorists that attack the peace of the realm. With only 1/3 or less pro rebellion they could hardly claim a democratic base.

By the way, I like parsons getting what they deserve for preaching war against a legal government.

@crematio 'Tis revenge. It makes people blind to previous beliefs they harboured. Gabriel was against the killing of surrendering men (and thus, in its own twisted way, 'inhumane killings'). But Tavington earned that bullet wound in the stomach; back in that time, killing civilians was a big no-no. Burning a church? Even worse. The Insane Butcher is still arguably Tavington; his numerous crimes outweighed Gabriel's petty revenge-crime. I'm not trying to attack your post, but make another point.

I love Jason Isaacs(Colonel Tavington)!
