Sweet Jesus, 0:48 just doesn't get old. Love this film, its bodycount is about 100 and 95 of the deaths take place in the last ten minutes, this movie with a beer and some mates is solid gold, violent, cheesy glory.

Also is it just me or does the guy whoes scalp gets cut off look like Chevy Chase, and the guy who gets an axe to the crotch look like Dave Grohl?

Actually Matrix kills around 88 people. That's not counting people killed by other characters, so I'd say the body count is around 100.

But Hard-Boiled has a much higher bodycount. It's pretty accurate to say that about 300 people get pumped full of holes.

ok, this action sequence is about as dumb as a chicken with a lobotomy. have any of you ever fired an assault rifle or a light machine gun before? that aiming from the hip is like eating soup with a fork. and nobody stands while firing AND being under fire from multiple enemies. you either take cover behind an obstacle, lie down or at least crouch. I don't necessarily mind over-the-top action sequences but this is ridiculous.
