Your points were pretty much what I didn't liked about the game at first (nothing too bad anyways), like the parachuting from any place. I know it's a kind of cool feature but it somehow prejudice strategy, like decending from the top of a building to the first floor FROM INSIDE said building, it's very striking.

Omfg just stop arguing, there both good games in my opinion and i think that bc2 is a more complete and more smartly thoughout game... u cant even compare them in my opinion... mw2 is a fast paced fun online game that never gets u bored. Bc2 is an exciting combat simulator and u play it like in real life and u use tactics and strategy... but definately not as fun as mw2 weven if that game may be broken... its still a thing of beauty..

@RussianAndre the whole f******* game rules, mw2 sucks of course, but you know, on battfield bad company 2, yoyu also respawn like god on a random a lot of times, and more often, when you're respawning with ur parachute, snipers usually try to get you and they actually kill you a lot of times, it's called baserape but that's fucking enoying. anyway... bbc2 rules mw2 sucks and DICE is awesome ! :)

Not a bad overview, loving the game myself, it's probably going to be one of the best multiplayer experiences this year. I do disagree about the vehicles though, i like the quick spawn. I don't know if you played BF2 back in the day, but it's the reason i like the fast respawn, nothing worse than spawning to find half your team standing around doing nothing on the aircraft carrier waiting for a heli to spawn.

I actually prefer the vehicles to be more accessible. There are so many fps games without vehicles. The main reason I play Battlefield, and why I loved it back with Battlefield 1942 was bc of the vehicles!! It was annoying when I had to wait around for a vehicle, the more accessible=the more fun i get out of the game. I do prefer MORE vehicles to begin with, not just one or two to wait around for, and the time they take to get to the conflict, it's usually fair and in "realistic" terms.

and of course BF is far from being realistic. And they have noticeably toned realism into the newer BF titles. It is now a mix of Soldner, OFP, COD, BF, and whew a lot of games! And that's why it's good and many audiences like it. I still would like my crater forming weapons from Soldner!!! At least they have the building destruction from Soldner (2005)!

Good review, though I have to disagree with the 2 flaws you found, not that their big ones. Both flaws are actually part of the nature of the BF Franchise. Vehicles are supposed to spawn quickly, and always have for the most part, as it is trying to simulate real war with limited number of people and they want to give everyone a chance to pilot them (instead of having spawn campers). And the parachuting has been around since codename eagle. Overall though great review.

We're not sure what the limit is right now, they said we can;t go as high as 200, its probably capped aroujnd 120 or thereabouts.

New update is out right now anyway which incorperates it, have to alter the line in the settings.ini, default is about 55.

Its a real disappointment they reduced the max players on pc from 64 to 32. A lot of people were psyched to hear about large 64 battles, only for DICE to reduce it by half.
