@snacktical She looks her age of 41 (born 1970). That's how hard-working people look without make-up at that age. Her looks don't really matter any ways.
@medular Every other video I've seen her in, she looks around 27-28. And ya, when you actually have talent you don't need to be eye candy to keep people attention.
@snacktical Maybe they were videos of her in her 30's when she often wore make up. I saw her in concert in July (2011) and she looked exacty like she does here, only her hair was a complete mess.
Love the video! We visited Grand Isle in August and saw some of the same things. We have been continuing our work of documenting the spill, and recently attended a symposium in Athens, Ga. where Scientists, Coast Guard, NOAA, BP, and local community officials spoke. Highlights are on our YouTube channel.
Also, our documentary can be viewed on our website - link is on the channel.
Thanks for continuing to remind people that this spill is not over!
@JinnyCricket I personally wouldn't give it a thumb down, as it is a great humanitarian effort. I have a daughter that lives in New Orleans, but I'm a music lover & can usually know with one hearing if the song has what it takes to make people love it - now that we don't get unendated with songs on the radio like back in 60's, 70's, even 80's til now.
Sometimes you can learn to love a song if you hear it enough
@esiotrot17 Great question! The best way to support our work in the Gulf right now is to subscribe to our eList, and watch for updates on actions we can help you take as the situation there continues to evolve. The URL is at the end of the video above. Thanks in advance for your support!
"1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Yisrayl, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.

and the criminal aspect of this is, not a single regulation has resulted from the largest oil spill on record.
drilling permits continue to be issued even though there is virtually no change in a system that drastically failed.

What can I be doing to help? Other than give money to Oxfam? I don't really have much money. Or is that really the best way to support?
