  • Hey! Great video! I need to learn to make these bows so then my hair will not come in my face! Quick question, Where do you get the medal clips because I cannot find them anywhere?

  • @xocheerleader225 i found the alligator clips (single prong clips) @ sally's or any beauty supply store. @ sally's i got a box of 100 for less than $6.

  • Thank you so much for making this video! I've been looking for quite a while around youtube for a nice cute simple bow to make and I finally came across yours today! Please keep this video on your profile I'll be coming back to it, to make some of these bows! Great job and thanks for sharing!

  • That's really pretty! but i can't use a hot glue gun and lighter... :(

  • can you make a tutorial on how to burn the end of the bows?

  • Finishing the ends with a lighter isn't hard. Just pass the end of the bow through the flame holding the flame Vertically and the end of the ribbon vertically. I just run it up and down the flame 1 or 2 times really quickly. There's also some liquid stuff you can buy from Michaels called No Fray. It's cheaper to use a lighter though.

  • wow that was great and i made one and it's soooooo cute! wanna make some more videos on making other bows??? :)

  • awesome...i love it... THANK YOU!!!

  • Great video - you made it look really easy! Can't wait to get started on making my own!!

  • where do you get aligator clips???? harmon????? dollar store????? please answer, thankyou! lol

  • I bought mine at Sally Beauty supply

  • walmart

  • you can get alligator clips at sally's beauty supply store.

  • Sally's has 12 for 2 something.

  • i got a box of 80 for 5. and my friend got a box of 100 for 5 too. Wierd. O.o

    *Rocksterize* makeup tutorials

  • i have watched over 20 vids to try to make a bow for my daughter then i watched yours and now it makes sence !! Thanks for the clear instructions, you made it very easy to understand

  • nice video , great , very understand able instructions, much appreciated ,

  • where is your camara?

  • Beautiful bow and so easy, thanks. I love hairbows and with two daughters it gets expensive having to buy them, so I decided to start making them. Thanks for the video.

  • When you are burning the edges are you actually touching the ribbon with the flame or is it under the ribbon and heat just melts the ends a lil?

  • yay! Could I use different ribbon widths if I wanted to achieve a bigger bow? Of course I could make the loops bigger, but could I exchange the widths as long as one was the largest and one was the smallest? Great instruction vid!! Thx

  • can u use bobby pins instead of those alligator clips???

  • I don't think it would be very easy to attach them to the bow, but you could try.

  • if you hot glue gunned the bobby pin on the bow probably.

  • @candybubbles01

Buy salon clips... i got mine at sallys. they are open on top and bottom!

  • I go to Hottopic to Buy bow's and For just a few it's Exspensive,

At walmart i get Martirial for a buck

  • why do u burn it?

  • Because if you don't the ends will fray.

  • Where do you buy alligator clips with nothing on them?

  • Sally Beauty Supply store carries little bags of 10 i think for like 3 bucks.

  • Sally's has 12 for 2 something. They're over where the bobby pins and other clips are.

  • nm I see now

  • oh and could you possibly tell me the steps to how you are wrapping the ribbon, it's hard to see in the video. And what size ribbon are you using?

  • I still can't get it just right...and btw where do you get your ribbon from? I went to Michaels and spent $75 got 16 rolls diff. sizes, their stuff is expensive.

  • Just keep practicing, you'll get it!

I buy all my ribbon online, usually in bulk on eBay. Definitely much cheaper than craft stores.

  • Thanks.

  • Lovely <3

  • this is by far the best tutorial video for bow making I have seen! Fantastic! Thank you xx

  • out of all of the bow videos i have watched this is definately the most thorough...best....easiest to follow....however you want to describe it! burning the edges...DUH!...why didn't any of the other videos say that? I feel like I can make your bows and be satisfied with the end product! THANKS!!!

  • Thank you so much!!

  • fantastic camera work and explaination. Thank you!!!

  • So adorable!! Thank you for the tips, it was very helpful.
