I thought TEENAGERS are suppose to ASK their PARENTS PERMISSION to go to a PARTY or anywhere else! not to TELL them WHAT you are GOING to do! That's the PROBLEM these DAYS! SET an example! That little SPEECH she made back there should of landed her a good SLAP! one from MOM and another by DAD!
Did anyone else notice the guy who carried that girl into Kahuna's shack also pulled in another? Ow ow! Moondoggie is so cute in this scene and I do think he had an idea that Gidg liked him cause when she says otherwise he looks real down AND the fact that he said "i have a guess..." sold me.

I love this movie, really!! But did you notice how fast that girl with the dark top and white capri pants moves? At 7:37 she's clapping by the rock (left side of screen), then at 7:44 she's hugging moondoggie and drinking his libations, then she's happy at the rock again by rock again by 7:52 -- LOL!!
Man I totally forgot how cool that song was! Man I wanted to learn to play the Sax as good as that guy when I was a kid! I gotta take up the Sax! Would probably never be that good though.

I'm a girl who actually spends one day a week basically "locked up" and is forbidden to have any social life simply because I don't believe the same close-minded, judgmental religion my father does. Sorry if I'm a little over-sensitive about teenage girls being locked up in their own home! And I don't think I'm more special because I'm a girl, I just think that I deserve to be treated like family, not a prisoner of war.
@SaltwaterAir1 Sounds like a personal issue between you and your father. I'm sure you're doing some teenage exaggerations, but regardless, don't explode on a movie character that's not actually doing anything wrong. He is not coming off abusive, controlling, or even crossing any lines. A little overprotective, but most dads are.
