RIP George Harrison- a truly amazing musician and underrated Beatle. George wrote so many masterpieces and even already famous musicians like Simon,Nash, Clapton and others who have played his songs or played with him know it.
have you guys stopped to think that maybe the sound distortion is terrible because of the microphone that it was recorded with? watch the other vids from this concert and then re-evaluate lol

The sound is just HORRIBLE. I do wish these guys would do what the Stones have done for ages and that's play small places. The sound in these ice rinks is an INSULT to the art. It makes people like me who appreciate music as an art form seem like back alley trash. I know, it's for the money. They could easily play smaller venues and play for 7 straght nights (like they used to) with terrific sound, or play one night in a CAVE and move onto another CAVE and make millions. Makes me sick!
You're right, the sound is horrible on this particular YouTube video. But this song on the HBO special was beautiful. It sounded truly great on t.v. I do agree with you that these venues are not the best place for high-quality performing, but neither is somebody's cell phone or video camera the best device for faithfully recording a concert in a hall.
great george number these guys are honoured to have sung!

How could anyone, except a record Exec., talk or laugh during this beautiful song?
They laugh and even try to sing along as if the song is being sung for their pleasure alone.
Just sad.
Peace.

Paul, can you please stick to singing your own shitty songs? There was no need to try and touch Nina Simone.

I couldn't agree with you more. The sound distortion is horrible, no musician of any status should tolerate this.
