The camera on it barely has any use at all when it comes to games other than casual games that you can play with your family or mess around on with friends while drunk or whatever. That said, my family doesn't like games and I don't drink enough alcohol to get drunk. Neither do my friends. So I have no use for the Kinect. It's probably fun for a couple of hours though. I'll give it that.

I played disney adventures kinnect and for that game alone will be buying my very first xbox/kinnect package.  It was awesome. The best part is that my kids can play it and it's completley intuitive. I just might be switching my loyalty from Ninentendo to Xbox. It rocks.

Have had the Kinect since launch, mostly for my girls (now 7 & 8 years old) and fitness games - a LOT of the "normal" games on the Kinect are aimed for the younger generations (Kinectimals, Fantastic Pets, Disney, Sesame Street game, etc) or fitness (there's something like 7 of them)... saying that, the best games are the dancing ones

I've been waiting for a REALLY GOOD Move game to come out, but it seems like it's an add-on, and the dancing games are just pathetic, so no Move yet for me...

Kinect is easily the best of the 'movement' gaming systems, with the most potential for immersion game play. Not to mention that of all the movement system, it is the only one that actually requires you to move your entire body, and not just your arm. Still waiting for a great, non casual game using the system though... mostly just dance games and fruit slicing so far. kinect star wars has potential to be awesome. Children of Eden on kinect is FUCKING HARD, good game though.
