This video is Interesting. I was watching a Jackson private home movie, this was before they became famous. The brothers were having a snowball fight, and Michael was standing apart from the others, not even participating. I noticed he was standing away from his brothers and closer to DR. Years later, he skipped over his brothers&sisters and gave the children to Diana Ross.On a side note, Jermaine's Jackson ex-wife and their son are related to DR daughter. They are blood family ties there.
You can sure tell how much Diana Ross likes MJ. When she is talking about the time she spent with the Jackson 5, she keeps referring to Michael. She "played" with HIM and "bonded" with HIM. I feel that she was like a mother to him and at the same time a "true friend". I think that she was the type of friend that he could tell anything to and she would not judge him or gossip about him. Something about Michael seens so sad..I think his brothers are so full of confidence and fun...they love him and he loves them but he is so meek and mild compared to them as if he has no confidence or assurance...can't quite figure it out!!!! Or maybe he's so used to awards and they seem so excited and giddy 'cos they have not had the same level of award winning.
mike was so kind and considerate that he stayed in the background to give his brothers their time in the spotlight. he did it so as to not overshadow them(even tho he did that without even trying). if he had of stayed upfront,everyone would be screaming his name. he was being respectful of his brothers. btw he looked so cute,as always! and jackie was pretty cute too for an older guy

I think MJ was a loner at heart and that there was a lot of unspoken jealousy against him. A complex situation to say the least. Here you have this family who loves each other and yet everyone is aware that without Michael, they wouldn't even be standing there. I think MJ tried not to upstage them during gatherings like this, but of course no matter how hard he tried to stay in the background, he was the only person the audience REALLY wanted to see. I think it was awkward for everyone. JMO

Michael's been the soundtrack of our lives since 1969. I've never known a day without a Jackson 5/Michael Jackson song. I still remember carrying my metal Jackson 5 lunch box to grade school, how excited everyone was when he made the transition from child to adult star with Off the Wall, and absolute Michaelmania in the 80's. Whenever I think about Michael's passing, I start to cry. He was simply the greatest entertainer of all time.
I agree! If only Diana Ross felt the same way about Michael Jackson, they probably would've married and have beautiful kids by now. I think Michael would've felt happier and not lonely.
I think it had to be hard to know that without Mike, the group would not have been nearly as successful -- or maybe not a success at all! Had to be hard for MJ to know that too. And they all must have known it, even if they never said it out loud. Ironic that if you take either Michael or JOE out of the equation, there might not have been any significant noteriety at all! The rest of the boys could not have done it without those two.

Did you see how he hugged her at the beginning? This video is Interesting. I was watching a Jackson private home movie, this was before they became famous. The brothers were having a snowball fight, and Michael was standing apart from the others, not even participating. I noticed he was standing away from his brothers and closer to DR. Years later, he skipped over his brothers&sisters and gave the children to Diana Ross.On a side note, Jermaine's Jackson ex-wife and their son are related to DR daughter. They are blood family ties there.

You can sure tell how much Diana Ross likes MJ. When she is talking about the time she spent with the Jackson 5, she keeps referring to Michael. She "played" with HIM and "bonded" with HIM. I feel that she was like a mother to him and at the same time a "true friend". I think that she was the type of friend that he could tell anything to and she would not judge him or gossip about him. I wish that he had more "friends" in his life like Diana and Liz Taylor. Bless his pure heart and soul.

But why wasn't she at MJ's memorial and funeral ?? I've read that she couldn't take it, but c'mon...Liz Taylor is (also) old and fragile and she was at MJ's funeral.

People keep saying how Michael is being single out from his brothers, but I don't think so, I think he's just too shy that's all and I don't think his brothers do have any resentments towards him, you can see how close they are together, they just know that's how their little brother is, they just more outgoing and he's just a more reserve man. OMG you can see all the LOVE Michael had for Diana he just can't be away from her especially when he's telling her that he's crazy about her.

Something about Michael seens so sad..I think his brothers are so full of confidence and fun...they love him and he loves them but he is so meek and mild compared to them as if he has no confidence or assurance...can't quite figure it out!!!! Or maybe he's so used to awards and they seem so excited and giddy 'cos they have not had the same level of award winning.

mike was so kind and considerate that he stayed in the background to give his brothers their time in the spotlight. he did it so as to not overshadow them(even tho he did that without even trying). if he had of stayed upfront,everyone would be screaming his name. he was being respectful of his brothers. btw he looked so cute,as always! and jackie was pretty cute too for an older guy

I am so very glad to see and hear Jermaine give Gladys Knight and Bobby Taylor the TRUE credit for discovering them. People still believe it was Diana Ross because that who Berry used to introduce them on the Ed Sullivan Show. How fitting that Gladys was selected to sing at Michael's burial, as her voice truly remains out~of~this~World!! She stuck by Michael through it ALL, and she and her husband were his "comfort", taking him into her home prior to and during the trial

I think MJ was a loner at heart and that there was a lot of unspoken jealousy against him. A complex situation to say the least. Here you have this family who loves each other and yet everyone is aware that without Michael, they wouldn't even be standing there. I think MJ tried not to upstage them during gatherings like this, but of course no matter how hard he tried to stay in the background, he was the only person the audience REALLY wanted to see. I think it was awkward for everyone. JMO

Michael's been the soundtrack of our lives since 1969. I've never known a day without a Jackson 5/Michael Jackson song. I still remember carrying my metal Jackson 5 lunch box to grade school, how excited everyone was when he made the transition from child to adult star with Off the Wall, and absolute Michaelmania in the 80's. Whenever I think about Michael's passing, I start to cry. He was simply the greatest entertainer of all time.

I think it had to be hard to know that without Mike, the group would not have been nearly as successful -- or maybe not a success at all! Had to be hard for MJ to know that too. And they all must have known it, even if they never said it out loud. Ironic that if you take either Michael or JOE out of the equation, there might not have been any significant noteriety at all! The rest of the boys could not have done it without those two.
