  • If they kept their music the same you would be complaining, they change it slightly you still fucken complain! Ur clearly just not a living end fan!

  • everyone stop baggin the second guitarist..his name is Lombie and he's a fuckin top bloke okay! they get on well with him off stage too and he adds to the sound so SHUT UP the new tunes kick ass too!

  • One of the best tracks on the new album... and kick arse live!!

  • Guys, The living end put a new album out for those fans, so don't criticize them! they're amazing! and stop bragging about how the sound or whatever! just be happy!

  • Dude the other guitarist was hidden away is the point im making so it kinda gives the impression that they didnt want him to be out there, hes behind the stage lights which fade him out and stuff, they never needed another guitarist befor why bring one in now ? the sound changes because that guy dont have Chris's tone, personally didnt like it man

  • to all those who think the other guitarist ruins the band, hear them live first before you criticize. As much as i hated the idea at first it actually does add something that imo filled out the sound a little more in songs like 'loaded gun', 'west end riot' etc. it doesn't change what chris plays or how he plays, it just adds a little more texture (his guitar is quite low in the mix). im not saying they 'needed' another guitarist, but i understand where they are coming from.

  • @LukeManos Dude... i seen them live! why make something in the studio that you cant reproduce on stage, i seen the album launch and i have to admit their old stuff kicks the shit out of their new stuff and the guitarist was hidden away in the back like he wasn't suppose to be seen ?! wtf is up with that !

  • @Bucketheadjnr ill agree i do prefer their old stuff. but as a whole it sounded good yea?

  • @LukeManos I'd love to hear them live, but they seem to have forgotten where Canada and the United States are. They haven't been over here since before white Noise. In a way though, maybe that might be a good thing. I wasn't a huge fan of White Noise, and the new one, only a couple songs stand out. Maybe I saw them last when they were at their peak, before Chris became "a songwriter" and forgot how to put together a rocking song.

  • You guys dont know what your talking about. The new album has some of the best tracks they have done, and that aussie rock sound is all but gone! listen to Heatwave, Away from the City and Machine Gun for example.

The Living End have always had a pop element to their sound. From day one they incorporated rock, punk and pop influences. anyone who wants to deny that can listen to earlier tracks like "Fly Away" and "Pictures in the mirror". They are still the same rock band they always were.

  • ActingJohn is right, here's hoping some good b-sides come out. And they're not like the rest of the cd. The second guitarist is hiding behind the curtain. Look close in some shots and you'll see him. Look at the other videos, right of Chris. Sad.

  • Where do they say , they will have another guitarist? Or did I get this wrong? Well this song is the best of the album, but unfortunatly a pop punk band. now....i also fell love with them after their first album. but what they produce now is sad. but i guess a lot of the management and producers stand behind them. So i don't know if they got a choice or whatever......let's wait for some cool b-sides. they still rock......

  • I agree with 'tootgarookboy. This is not the Living End I fell in love with. I'm wanting rock and roll guitars, not pop punk guitars. If I want that i'd go listen to Blink 182. Chris is, or should I say was an amazing guitarist. Sigh

  • @MrBsDad Wh... What ?! It is not pop punk at all O_o This album sounds a lot like Modern Artillery and State Of Emergency and it is still freakin' awesome

  • im sorry, but with an introduction of another guitarist, its ridiculous,

its not the living end anymore with a +1 on stage.

its terrible because one of the album reviews said "its a good clean pop punk studio record, but how they will manage the songs live is another story".

and then they introduce the new guitarist,

    i love them,forever.

but i hate what they've become.

go search for "white noise 2008 NRL grand final"

listen to the start as their walking on stage,

  • i hate to say this as a devoted fan with them tattooed on me,but they've lost it,it's mainstream dribble now,TEIJTBR is just a good studio clean pop punk record,

not what the living end used to be about.

    its saddening.

    good album.

but sounds like another band trying to be who the living end were.

  • @tootgarookboy They've still got it mate. If anything they've regained what they lost on 'White Noise'...

  • Was at this gig, They should play more old stuff and not write new stuff... Im pretty sure metallica wrote this riff already XD

  • I worked on this. Was an awesome gig, the drum camera was breaking up but it only made things better!

  • fav song off album
