OK thats total BS the guy can reload a whitworth rifle in second while in real combat the thing got more and more difficult to reload becuase of the corrision of black powder...witch in this case he didint even load powder in the gun and didint even put a friggin primer cap on it eather.

yes they did have the repeating rifles. This was when the muzzle-loader age was coming to a close and starting to get into bolt action rifles and automatic weapons. Also world war 1 wasn't to far off from the civil war.

I think that the single-shot rifles like Springfield musket and Sharps rifle add very much "character" to these games. The repeating rifles(Henry and Spencer) are great too but they are overpowering on their firing rate and loading.

History Channel secret missions is an awesome FPS on PC, the graphics are butter smooth and the textures are very detailed. It gives COD a serious run for its money, which makes sense because it uses a modified COD engine.

Well the PC version is only good if you have a good amount of RAM, Graphics Card Memory, and a good CPU chip with that..... But the PS2 is old as hell so it doesn't have that good of a CPU RAM Nor Graphics Card.... Thats why it sux....

Oh and also it takes more than 8 seconds to load and fire a musket properly. You also must include powder, and a percussion cap. There are nine steps and the guys loading the Whitworth follows about two and forgets the rest. I just can't believe you can fire an uncapped gun! Also henry repeaters were not in abundance and correct me if I am wrong but I don't even think they were issued before Chancellorsville or even put into fighting at least. Feel free to correct me on anything I said.

Moron? Great comeback. And also have you ever even shot a musket? Last time I checked all firearms need gunpowder and and ignition source to fire. A modern day bullet has bullet powder and primer. A Civil War era weapon needs just the same components to fire. I would have expected the HISTORY CHANNEL to at least include gunpowder...

This game is a disgrace to civil war reenactors and civil war enthusiasts alike. I am a reenactor and find all the history channels quote "Civil War" games almost entirely historically incorrect. In a nation divided on what I think is the first mission or so it says you are in the second wisconsin as a Private. I reenact that unit and know for a fact that they were never armed with revolving rifles. And more unlikely the private had that a sword and a pistol!
