You should be careful. My puppy broke his leg a few weeks ago jumping off a step that isn't even that high. He is also a Pom. They shouldn't jump off of places that are to high for them to jump up on.
We always pick up onto the couch and place on the floor so he doesn't jump off.
He's a cute'n alright. Keep in mind the neighbours when he's yipping like that though, my neighbours have a dog that yaps all hours of the day and its frigging horrible.
