  • The vastus medialis has different striations right?

  • sartorious was gracilous. u messed it up.

  • Don`t let the Chinese see this they might think it`s a receipt

  • A lot of these are wrong.....

  • Wow the left side is messed up. But that helped some.

  • that bitch is dumb the gastrocnemius is not next to the extensor digitorum longus. it goes gastrocnemius, soleus, peroneus, extensor digitorum longus, tibialis anterior then flexors of the foot... stupid bitch

  • @tortuga661 What the hell is wrong with you? Shut up. You're not impressing anyone by naming the muscles in their correct place. You know them, that's great. No one else cares. They're LEARNING. Leave them alone.

  • i have an anatomy test over muscles tomrmow! nice vid

  • yo this cat is not dissected very well...its all over the place

  • i can smell the biofresh from the cats..lol

  • lol

  • im all down for science and learning, but i dont think i coulc do that to a cat, i frog or whatever i coul, even a squir, but i would just think about my kitty kitty when i cut that one open

  • how about a cow.

  • WOW! very amazing. Great Job. Our work last time was not that good like yours. haha

    BIOLOGY student here.

  • You did very well on this dissection. Although I think you may have mixed up a few muscles, you explained the leg very clearly.

This helps so much for my Anatomy exam. Thanks!

  • Unless I'm mistaken, I believe the sartorius you pointed out was actually gracilis.

  • As a science major, I appreciate this video, very helpful. You girls did a great job overall, great dissection.

To those of you posting immature comments about how gross it is- Grow up. Noone's making you watch this video. Noone likes a martyr.

  • The second time you show the "rectus femoris" it is wrong. Also what you labeled as the "Flexor digitorum longus" is actually the soleus. But good vid anyways.

  • @NeoAkira101

you just confirmed my answer. thanks.

  • thanks this was kinda helpful although your vastus intermedialis and rectus femoris were wrong.... but good seperations of the muscles. clean disection

  • EWW i couldnt do that just for MY knoledge or whatever.. this is mean but i hope you learned... poor cat. you should see how they get these animals!

  • ur wrong on the rectus femoris and vastus intermedialis

  • That's an impressive array of muscles! I can see how well built cat legs are for powerful, explosive movement

  • I'll never understand why cat dissection is considered acceptable for human study. Cadavers are totally different.

That, and cats are better alive.

  • well how can you be a vet if you don't do this.

  • I'm an idiot... my bad. Sorry...

  • Cats are cheaper. And they should have fried that baby up!

  • Because it helps students in actual identification of REAL muscles on something other than a plastic model. And no cadavers are not "totally" different, nearly ever single muscle mentioned here you also have in your body in the same place.

  • is that cat alive?

  • where you identified the flexor digitorum longus is suppose to be the soleus

  • very helpful thanks guys
