Freischütz doesn't mean "free guard" ^^ A "Schütze" has nothing to do with a guard. "Schütze" means gunman or shooter. A "Freischütz" is a hunter who, according to a legend, never misses a target due to a special, "magical" ritual (molding the bullet at a special date/hour, engraving a crucifix...).
Can anyone tell me why this song is called "Der Freischutz"? I'm a big fan of the opera 'Der freischütz' by Carl Maria von Weber, but I couldn't hear any melody resemblences. And I'm no expert in J-Pop or anything similar.

Same but I can sure sing it. What you want to do is practice it with the mp3 version slowed down, once you've mastered it then speed it up, and so on and so forth till normal speed. I can sing most T.M.Revolution songs. Only ones I can't are ones I haven't heard and ones I'm too lazy to learn.
