In Smart Notebook 10 I have found a tile called "question flipper" which is similar to the "question and answer" tool used in the video (which doesn't seem to exist in this version of the software).
@SIrCrazy either works.. Turns out I read on Smart's discussion board.. (as suggested by Aprissm) that its a known bug that was supposed to be updated int he Mac software this summer, but unfortunately seems not to have been. (because it was done with the most recent version of the smartboard.. )
Okay... we are having a big problem.. One of my students did this.. It looked awesome.. however, she saves it and exits and goes to make sure it saves correctly - the questions and answers are all gone... She is really frustrated.. Has anyone had this problem. any suggestions?
Can anyone tell me where to find the Question and Answer tile in a Mac software program for SmartBoards? We cannot seem to find it. . . We updated to the most current software. . .
This is an excellent presentation. As another person posted, are you sharing your file? Then we could use it but just adjust it for our subjects (I teach hs algebra and geometry as well as psat prep). I myself have been using my smartboard to make and play jeopardy and the kids love it.
Also, what grade level of kids use this? And, once a question is used, is it recycled during the game? On one hand I am thinking that kids already know the answer the questions that other kids landed on so it kinda spoils it for them, but on the other hand hearing the question more than once is the point of review so its probably good. How do you handle that?
Pretty neat. I was looking around for some new ideas and liked this. Thanks for taking time to share this. Is the file you made available for download anywhere?
The fireworks are under "essentials for Educators," "people and culture," "everyday things," "miscellaneous." You can also just do a search for "fireworks." It doesn't really matter what you put at the end. There are birthday candles, crackling fire, a barbecue, etc. that you could also use instead. The kids just think it's neat to turn it on. :-)
If you mean. . .how can it be used in class, then I use it both as whole group and paired review. I let a couple of kids work on it at my computer at a time. They love playing, and want to return to it again and again!
I cant find the question and answer box you first put up/

Does your school have a Smartboard? If so, then you can go to the smarttech website and download the software to use.
