He's right. Even when something dramatic happens to make people grow up an mature, TV is there to turn everything back into a cartoon/video game. I remember flipping the channels about a week after 9/11 and came across some show called Curb Your Enthusiasm, and there was some dialogue about how some woman said hello to Larry David and he said "morning, nice ass", and the entire show was about that. I thought, its already starting, were back to normal, they can't even wait a month can they?

One truly good result from 9/11 was that many people started seeking truth. If everyone would just start seeking the truth of life for themselves, our world would reflect that honest, serious, and unifying intent.
