Tigersharks and Silverhawks were not rip-offs, as they were done by the same studios and voice actors as ThunderCats. They followed similar formulas, and some plots were getting close to overlapping into a crossover. If the 1988 writer's union strike didn't end the series, there would have been a great crossover made. The DVD offered on ebay is not genuine.

actually it was a rip off from thundercats...thundercats was created by a guy who lives in hawaai and the studio took advantage of the extreme success from thundercats and created two shows based on it, silverhawks and tigersharks...so it was a total pleasant rip off...someone please post tigersharks episodes...please
