Me and my wife had this song on "repeat" 5 years ago when our son was born. Therefore it reminds me on this miracle of life, and the happiest night/morning of my life. Last year my wife passed away from cancer, and now this song reminds me on the "longtime sun" that will hopefully shine on the road ahead... Nice to hear this song again 5 years later :)

“Incredible String Band” attended a lecture with Yogi Bhajan in

London and donated this song to him during a talk they had with him afterwards.

The text “May The Long Time Sun...” was not

written by the “Incredible String Band”, but was used originally in Ireland in the middle

ages as a blessing for people, who started a long journey.

This song is in the Kundalini yoga tradition - not Falun Gong. Although an Irish blessing, it is used at the end of Kundalini sets. Snatam Kaur is a follower of the Sikh faith.

The torture endured by those associated with Falun Gong, an extremely peaceful and harmonious faith and practice, is due to persecution by the government due to opposition and fear, not by those actually within the faith. Its not a cult - it doesn't fit into the definition of one.
