How do you like the 3v? Thinking about getting one in a few years after my 2v is paid off. I just LOVE the way they sound. What are you running in the quarter?
@A4Eaton I love the 3v not only in the performance but the sound it generates... I haven't tried a quarter mile run yet so not sure... When I do go on track you can be sure there will be a video of it!!

@FaddyBluntman Hey dude, I was told by a Corsa rep that even though the names suggest the extreme would be louder it simply isn't.. The extreme is more mellow and more refined but the sport mufflers have a more aggressive sound and they are louder.. All depends on you and how loud you want your car.. At commuting speeds the corsa mufflers are fairly quiet but blip the throttle and the sound really goes to another level!!

@doworkk123 I would love to but my car is out of commission ATM... my car has all the insulation and seats ripped out so it's louder than most inside but there is no way you can carry any sort of conversation at WOT.. Sorry I can't help more, it sounds even higher pitched and more metallic inside the car than what you hear in my videos.. The videos don't quite capture the full sound. In the future I'll have more vids but not right now..
This is how Mustangs should sound. You list "headers + midpipe". Long tubes or short? What brand? Catted or Offroad mid pipe, etc. The devil is in the details.

@iwasadeum Well thank you for your comment.. The sound will be slightly different since you not only have a different engine but also the fact that it's got more cubic inches than mine so naturally the sound will probably be a deeper tone that my car!!
@czechmate very awesome. This does sound cool, but just a little too high for my taste. The only reason i hesitated to buy a mustang is because i heart some Challenger SRT8's with corsa systems. SRT8 alone sounds beasty, but add the corsa and......well let's say it makes ferraris sound like a lawn mower =)

@iwasadeum To each their own right!! A lot of people prefer the deeper sound of muscle cars... I like the exotic sound more myself!!
For the installation the shop would probably charge you an hour or two for the installation so maybe a couple hundred buck for the work.. Altogether probably between 800-1000 bucks since the mufflers are about $700.
@paladain55 Refined was how Corsa was explaining their sound!! It takes away the drone so your left with just the "refined" sound. The sound is actually very sharp and you can hear every little variation in the sound throughout the rpm range.I don't know if that makes sense but that's the best way I can describe it right now!!
I have a 2008 Mustang Gt and plan on buying these mufflers (Corsa #14311) is that what you have? Hopefully it sounds close to what your car sounds like. That is the best sounding car I have heard .

With only one exception (Eleanor) this is, without question, the best sounding Mustang I've heard. I have a 2008 Bullitt and am looking at headers and exhaust. If I could make my car sound even remotely close to the way yours does, I would never need a girlfriend ever again. Great job on this car. What did you do to it other than the exhaust?

@jeffzahnd I agree... I've had them for a year now and still amazed at how they manage to cancel out the drone. What I love even more is the crisp sound they produce...very refined sound.
@hohohee1 I used to like Flowmaster when I had my trans am but for Mustangs I'd say the Bassani sounds better!! As for the offroad H pipe, unless you have some weird emissions inspection tests where you live or really strict rules concerning this kind of mod I wouldn't even give it a thought..nobody is gonna look under your car at your h or x pipe. As far as I know the offroad pipes are better flowing thus louder than the regular ones.

He probably has longtubes offroad midpipe most likely an x pipe and the corsas. Plus a cam. The cam sounds like somthing a little more agressive probably a comp cams nsr. But once again this car sounds awesome.
@loud98chevy yes it is... so I've been told as I've never heard it outside myself but inside the car under acceleration forget about trying to hear anything but the sound.
