I did all of the steps except the part were you selected the picture to begin with because i don't have microsft word. so then i had an idea. i saved the picture with the background erased and then i went to photobucket and did the whole picture at once. i did the grayscale and the contrast. and then i took it back to MS paint and finished it off. thanks (:

you can just save the picture in monochromatic, there you have it.

i just use the photobucket customize thing, and it turns it into a ink stamp easy. but sometimes i have to lighten the picture up a bit. but found out thats the easiest way .

This is a nice, simple method to get results. It would take some finessing this method to do an image with a great deal of detail, like a woman with curly hair, but even then this method presents a solid foundation on which to work. Kudos.
