You can put a pressure plate on top of a fence post to make a table.

I have thought up an idea and to me it seems it will work! (My minecraft is banned so I cant test it out...) But you use pistons and redstone to make it so you put a button on the log/table and the seat moves one place back!!!! It sounds really cool!

Dan i made a very good couch it was made of stone slabs and stone chairs. THE shape of it was a sorta traingle. And for a table i used glass surrounded by signs. A light gray carpet gos well with it

Oh, if you're looking for another way to do a couch, take the one with 3 stairs and add a half step on the right-most stair to make a chaise lounge :)

best table? a upward-facing piston with a redstone torch in the ground and stairs on the side! make sure to dig a 2-block deep hole with the torch on the bottom and the piston on the same level as the floor.

u can make a very relastic table

u need spc or be on s server+op tho

use wrld edit and put 2 fence on top of each other

set the top fence,then do //set woodplate

you now have a sexy table <3

I have an interesting bench design that I use sometimes. I put down a single fence pole, and two blocks to the right, another fence pole. I make them two blocks high, each, with stone slabs all across the top, like an arch. Then, in front of them (not directly; in the two blocks between them) I put cobblestone stairs down. I think it looks kind of nice :)

You should change the stairs to slabs on the outside bench, the way it is now looks like it has two backs.
