  • yeah! they were =)

  • so they were literally fucked up on camera?

  • Yep. ;)

  • how does Henry Fonda's son end up making a movie like this?

  • Henry may have been a great actor but he was a total dick as a parent and husband. Besides Henry never produced a legendary movie. In that sense Peter outshone his father.

  • Have you ever heard of 12 Angry Men?

  • OK I will give you that one but 12 Angry Men wasn't the iconic movie that Easy Rider was.

  • it may not be as revoluntionary as easy rider, but there are plenty that will argue to death that it is more iconic because of the gritty realism and the exploration of a grey area during a time where people wanted musical and happy endings. The 50s was a precursor to the late 60s and 70s, where the films got even grittier. Brando, Dean, Clift, Kazan, Ford and even Wayne started making personal, character driven movies.

  • man, I had a crappy day....and this just totally salvaged things for me. Thank you so much.

  • It really makes you get what it's all about, all over again, doesn't it..
