@slavestogravity ur right mate, it does de-value it completely. although i do agree with the other dude that SOME CD's are too expensive, went into HMV the other day just to look and saw some albums up for over 20 quid(not yours dont worry), not even limited edition. its for this reason i usually only buy my favourite bands albums in hard copy and download the rest (from amazon mp3 downloads not from illegal places) because you can get them cheap without either party being ripped off.
this band is growing on me. seeing them on 23rd supporting alter bridge in london. never checked them out before but looks like i've been missing out. will rectify immediately. sorry guys!!
used to be a fan of the gagas, was devastated when they split, found out today about STG lol loving the music =] But Tommy should have kept his long hair!!!! lol
i completely agree - i'd hate to release something amazing only to have it downloaded and ripped off by limewire. downloading music completely rips off artists and its destroying the music industry tbh :/
Tonight will see us play the penultimate gig on the April tour. It's been a rollercoaster ride and it's great to be back playing in London. Things will be kicking off at the Borderline in Soho from 7.30. We're on at 9.30. We want to make this as bad-ass homecoming, so drag everyone you can along to join the party. It's being filmed for Lurid TV too, so remember to wear you finest hat, and join us and our friends Grand Volume in the Crobar for the aftershow!
We're gonna be rocking the Leeds Cockpit tonight from 8pm. Get there early to catch our killer support band, Grand Volume. It'll be cool to be playing on a real stage tonight (rather than a fucking step) so expect a kick ass show! Tell yer friends and bring 'em down. See you there!!
dont worry i understand, you put in a lot of time to each album and i understand you views but the thing is this argument will never go away unless programs such as limewire are banned or every band/artist does what raidohead did with their album "in rainbows" ..... what most people don't know is that they made more money on this album than all the previous one's .... just somthing to thing about
but since when have radiohead ever cared about making money? they're possibly the biggest band in the world at the moment - money is the least of their worries
ive downloaded 60+gb of music from limewire :P ..call me a theif all you want ...albums are too expensive anyways.....but great music guys!! no doubt about that!
saw these guys tonight in cardiff barfly. Fucking great show. Bought the album (amazing stuff) and had a quick chat with tommy after the set. Very cool guy - totally down to earth
You can play along to this song in the free Slaves To Gravity iPhone app.

@slavestogravity Amen to that. Albums cost a shit load to make. Besides, why would you want a shit mp3 version of a song?
If u buy an CD not only do u get the real thing but all the artwork that comes with it. And some albums have some seriously shit hot artwork in them.
CD sales won't disappear completely, there will always be true music/band/art fanatics.
That said, I'm sure new artists who are trying to make a name 4 themselves would rather have people download their songs than not hear them.
