We have to go by using Bachmann standard and stuff like that. If you didn't like the engine you didn't have to slice it in half. That was a nice locomotive you DESTROYED. I tried this with my N Scale Intermoutain SD45T-2 and a Digi decoder! It was so much easier than how DigiTrax says to install it.

In the cross section after cutting it in half, look at the tank, it's that craptastic split frame which you can also see more towards the inside top. I have a few old Spectrum's, they're all dummies now and don't even really get used. I'd get rid of them if I could, but hell, can't even give the damn things away now.
