i think she lost a lot of weight and her hair grew. That's why she looked different compared to how she looked when she auditioned for JYP. And she has thick eyeliner which, i think made her eyes seemed bigger :D
and I honestly don't see what's wrong with doing plastic surgery. If it helps them feel more confident then why not? Why do idols always receive so much hate for doing plastic surgery? It doesn't change who you are on the inside and it certainly does not change the talent you have.

I don't notice any differences in her physical appearance except that she grew out her hair, put makeup on, and lost some weight. I actually think that those are some pluses, but that's me.
She has lost some weight and it has bring out her appearance, not saying she was big to begin with. And the makeup has brought out her features too, plus her hairstyle. <3 Hyorin is beautiful and amazing to begin with and as far as I've known adn seen, she hasn't changed much other than having an enhance look. (: I like her for that. ^^

It's sad that she had to change her whole face to be accepted into an agency. She's GORGEOUS now and has an amazing voice. But she's ALWAYS had an amazing voice. It just kinda breaks my heart that she needed to go behind the knife before she was noticed.

I just think it's sad that in Korea most idols have to get some form of surgery to get accepted into an agency, even if it's just double eye lid surgery, it's still a form of surgery. I've read stuff that hasn't been confirmed but it's possible she got her jaw line redone, which is common in Korea. It's more defined..
Anyways, I love her no matter what she looks like, she has great talent (:
@vietphokoreanbbqbeef Actually all agencies accept trainees based on talent. Looks may help but if you can't act sing dance or entertain you're not getting in. Most trainees are minors so no they didn't get surgery to be accepted the agency may ask them to get surgery later on but it's THEIR CHOICE. I don't think she had her jaw done at all because it looks the same. in any case the logical move would be to fix her nose first anyway so it doesn't make sense.
@happycamperyay I'm just going off what I've read. For example Bi was turned down multiple times because he refused to get double eyelid surgery, it took years for him to find an agency. Arden Cho, an American actor, said she went to Korea and wanted to act there but they told her she would have to get surgery. Korea has one of the highest rates of suicide when it comes to entertainers, the main reason being they're forced into surgery. I've kept up with this stuff for years :\

what i heard she is not rejected by JYP, she is a trainee for 6 years, but she didn't debut yet so i guess she left. Compare to her audition on JYP and here, she is really great in here..Love her voice

Well if you saw Kpop star, that might be why JYP reject her at that time. Just wait for Hyorin to work with JYP in Dream High 2. See whether he get the same feeling like IU.

It's sad that she had to change her whole face to be accepted into an agency. She's GORGEOUS now and has an amazing voice. But she's ALWAYS had an amazing voice. It just kinda breaks my heart that she needed to go behind the knife before she was noticed.

@vietphokoreanbbqbeef She didn't change her whole face she got double eyelids enlarged and that was it. The rest was achieved by better make-up, maturity, weight loss and a better haircut. You can tell that she didn't get anything else fixed because her nose is still completely flat. She got a surgery that so many girls get and not to mention she's trying to be an idol entertainer so looks are important so what's wrong with that?

@happycamperyay I never said anything was wrong with it.. I just think it's sad that in Korea most idols have to get some form of surgery to get accepted into an agency, even if it's just double eye lid surgery, it's still a form of surgery. I've read stuff that hasn't been confirmed but it's possible she got her jaw line redone, which is common in Korea. It's more defined..
Anyways, I love her no matter what she looks like, she has great talent (:

@vietphokoreanbbqbeef Actually all agencies accept trainees based on talent. Looks may help but if you can't act sing dance or entertain you're not getting in. Most trainees are minors so no they didn't get surgery to be accepted the agency may ask them to get surgery later on but it's THEIR CHOICE. I don't think she had her jaw done at all because it looks the same. in any case the logical move would be to fix her nose first anyway so it doesn't make sense.

@happycamperyay I'm just going off what I've read. For example Bi was turned down multiple times because he refused to get double eyelid surgery, it took years for him to find an agency. Arden Cho, an American actor, said she went to Korea and wanted to act there but they told her she would have to get surgery. Korea has one of the highest rates of suicide when it comes to entertainers, the main reason being they're forced into surgery. I've kept up with this stuff for years :\

I can't help but wonder if she got her surgery because she was rejected by JYP. I doubt that's the case, but I still wonder.

what i heard she is not rejected by JYP, she is a trainee for 6 years, but she didn't debut yet so i guess she left. Compare to her audition on JYP and here, she is really great in here..Love her voice
