The mechanics in this game are why BlazBlue is the greatest arena fighter since Power Stone.

@2point5DV2 The game plays nothing like powerstone or resembles it at all. Powerstone is more in line with smash bros if anything and BB is more like SF or MVC3.

@wirelessjt What are you talking about? Smash Bros isn't even a fighting game, it's a party brawler. And BlazBlue is nothing like SF and most certainly nothing like MvC3. SF and MvC are traditional 2D fighters, BB and Power Stone are arena fighters.

Cause if we are that game plays more like Smash bros and it is considered a fighter. Its just not a traditional fighter a party brawler like you said, but a brawl is a fight isn't it? Either way BB is a fighter like sf and mvc, BB and Power stone are nothing alike.

dude can you help I just got the console on christmas and I don't know how how to do those fancy stuff I can do regular combo's with simple move but not all that stuff

do you have any advie on how to easiest train on moves that require 180 degre turn and then forward movement + A/B/C/D like most distortions. i don't know why but i could pull those moves almost flawlessly in CT but now in CS it's impossible

Im not saying I was ever world class but it seems like the last update I've had a worse time trying to win with Haukuman and Valkyhen and yes I probably misspelled them. lol

@DarkScorpionOmega im more of a jin player and for some very strange reason is it impossible for me to make 66% of his distortions if im standing on the left side but is possible if stand on the right side

people complaining about this being complicated should try playing virtua fighter. one single character in VF has more moves than the entire cast of blazblue. and that's just about movesets, not on game mechanics...

(which is funny when you think that VF only has 3 buttons: guard, punch & kick)

@MizukiTHPS I don't even like virtua fighter yet i have to agree with joestar. VF is the most complex fighting game to date....which is why it's not very popular outside of Japan. I'd take my guilty gears, tekkens, blazblues, and street fighters over VF any day. Not only are they deep but they're also enjoyable to play (blazblue being the easiest of the four) . So while i don't care much for VF, it still stands as the most difficult fighter. There is no sarcasm to be had in that regard.

@2Dspectre Depends on how you feel. GG is fairly easy for basic combos but its faster and has crazy cancels to confuse opposing players. GG just feels smoother to me but BB is good game. Can't wait for new GG since they already annouced it, Might have BB vs GG.

@qazzy i think i can agree with you when you say it has crazy cancels and its faster. But 'im afraid those're some of the aspects of GG that makes it less aproachable to beginners in comparison to BBlue. It seemed that way for me, and i'm seeing it is also that way to some friends to whom ive tought both games. I think people feel blazblue the better game cause they find more newcommers every now and then.

I cant wait for new gg too, accent core series were amazing!

I agree with you comment as well. I think the newcomers may like the new GG game since I believe it will have updated graphics and probably good tutorials. But after playing with chip in GG. BB feels like Iam moving in slow motion lol.

@qazzy yea definitely. BB is slow paced when compared to guilty gear. Fastest combo in blazblue doesnt come nowhere near the speed of any chip or millia combo... *sigh* you just made me miss that great game quite a bit.
