@GodVlogger By God is fate, I mean God controls life and death. No matter the time or the day or in what form, life and death are inevitable. Also, in a way, you're right in saying that the Pope having security seems insignificant. However, God doesn't always show his protection through the works of miracles. In fact, he grants it to those blessed in his name, which is why the Pope blesses his guards before they are given duty. This is one of the many great reasons for having a Pope.

Now, with why the Pope needs bodyguards is because as much as the Pope professes the Faith, there are those who would rather have him dead. So, as much as I believe in miracles, human protection doesn't hurt, especially when protecting a man with such Holy orders...

@GodVlogger By God is fate, I mean God controls life and death. No matter the time or the day or in what form, life and death are inevitable. Also, in a way, you're right in saying that the Pope having security seems insignificant. However, God doesn't always show his protection through the works of miracles. In fact, he grants it to those blessed in his name, which is why the Pope blesses his guards before they are given duty. This is one of the many great reasons for having a Pope.
